Soooo entertainingly enough, I was working on trying to make more upbeat, funk-inspired music when I came out with this. I guess I had some stuff on my mind. I've been working with my voice in my songs more, and have some lyrical things that I'm still refining, though this ended up being one of the first I've posted with the vocals in sheerly incidentally. This feels like such a downer to open with- I hope this doesn't set too dark a precedent, as I usually prefer not to wallow in negative feelings like this. It just had to come out at that moment, and the track has been a cool way to explore those feelings we have to live with as little living creatures in our frail meat-bodies. I'm working on an album I'm going to self-release later in the year, but I don't think this one will make it onto that, so hit me up if you want a copy any time soon. The album won't be as song-based, it'll mostly be tracks with the dancefloor in mind, but there will be some trippy lil moments for personal listening. Hope you enjoy them half as much as I am, it's exciting to be getting to grips with making some of the music I've been working on for a long time. I'm excited to get on with the next section and see where we end up and what we'll hear<3

long time, no post! and, I'm back with another "coward mont blanc" cover LOL

it's existential dread taco!
this cover was intended to come out around the time of the anniversary of the song. in fact, i had uploaded a WIP of the cover to twitter, and, to my surprise, it gained a lot of support. it was that support that motivated me to try and actually finish this cover, and it was through twitter that yare had reached out to collaborate and make the art and animation for the PV. (please check out their art. it's super awesome!)

if it weren't for yare, i probably wouldn't have made a very interesting PV at all. but, because i was very grateful for their assistance, i really wanted to make something special! this is the first time i've put together what feels like an actual PV. it took some time due to my own schedule, but the process was as fun as it was complicated. i am proud of what we created, and i wanted to make something yare would be proud to have their art in!
