I recorded this piece just before my first gig of the Soft Moon in Gdańsk in February 2016. It was a movie and I burned CD with it and I gave it to Luis Vasquez after the gig at last. I was so ashamed of myself, feeling like a freak fan, so I've never listened to this recording ever again, till his passaway. Now in February 2024, after over 3 weeks of his tragic death, I wanna show this recording to the world. I hope one day, I will become a musician like you, Luis. Please, stay well dear beloved soul. I send you peace and love, wherever you are.

Alex Plaza "del Mar" is a musician and composer born in Buenos Aires in 1986 to Chilean parents from Viña del Mar and Chillan. From a young age, he immersed himself in music, learning from his father and older brother, instruments such as guitar, bass, and drums, and was deeply influenced by his family's musical roots. After moving to Chile in 2003, Alex began producing music and formed several music bands and personal projects, evolving overtime into elecronic music composition.

Since 2016, he has called Montañita, Ecuador, home, where the ocean, its rhythms, and its people inspire his work. 
Nowdays he is experimenting with organic sounds and soundscapes with a minimalistic touch.
