Angkor Wat

And another track off the new album.

Angkor Wat is a track I did a few years back and wanted to touch up. It pulls influence from dubstep, electronica, East Asian world music and 50’s exotica
 as well. There’s also a music video for this tune, based on Cambodia Buddhist Apsara dancing. I’ll drop that once it gets touched up and tweaked.

The album will contain various sorts of electronica, Goa trance, EDM, and hybrid cinematic orchestral styles. Enjoy!

This set is a sensual invitation to drift, sway, and fall under the spell of textures that shimmer and groove. Spun entirely from vinyl, it celebrates sonic seduction and magnetic tenderness — a disco-tinged reverie filtered through dusty rhythms and forgotten love songs. This mix explores a glittering terrain where nostalgia meets fantasy, and the body is free to glide through slow ecstasy.

Let this be a soundtrack for intimate movement, dramatic stares, sequined outfits and flickers of desire — a sonic ritual for summer shadows and strange romances.

join and listen to some of the most exclusive international funk music from the 70s ever pressed on vinyl. painfully selected and play tested funky club sounds that work as background music as well as on the dancefloor. lots of worldwide saught after funky burners, weird 'b-music' recordings and undiscovered breakbeats from the pop & rock underground, many of them micro pressed and originally available only in the country of origin.   

the term "FUNK" has millions of shades, yet my collecting drive is focused on japanese jazz rock, european grooves and latin funk from the middle & south american scene, obscure 45 b-sides, cosmic disco, progressive breaks, all kind of exploitation soundtracks and non-commercial library production music recorded for use in film, radio and tv only.   

as you can hear all my vinyls are recorded & remastered in highest digital sound quality for your full stereo enjoyment!  there's a lot of unknown quality 70s music to be discoverd here, something for everyone and my hope is u regularly come back for more to find new funky food for your ears.

Shatter the Matrix is one of the projects of composer Phil Justin, mostly high octane electronica music pulling from Goa trance, psytrance, world music, metal, funk, industrial, EDM, jazz as well as a ton of cinematic and orchestral colors. No real way to describe it except influences draw all the way from Infected Mushroom, Shpongle and Juno Reactor to John Williams, Danny Elfman and Bjork. With everything in between.
