“The Balkan Bolero - Short Version Long” is a piece that combines the sensuality and hypnotic rhythm of Ravel’s original “Bolero” with the deep, passionate accents of Balkan and Arabic traditions.

The clarinet begins to play, its sultry tones bringing immediate warmth, like a caress on the skin on a cool night. With its rich and sensual timbre, weaves its melody through the air, evoking images of oriental nights full of mystery and temptation.

As the clarinet builds, the cimbalom enters, bringing with it the essence of the Balkans. Its crystalline and rhythmic sound adds a new dimension, a sense of celebration and vitality, but also of nostalgia. The rhythm of the cimbalom is fast and complex, providing a captivating contrast to the smooth and undulating melody of the clarinet.

Together, these instruments create a growing tension, each note adding a new layer of intensity. The music starts to build, as if two souls are drawing closer, each longing to touch but still hesitating. The sounds grow stronger, increasing in volume and complexity, each note bringing an explosion of emotion and desire.

As the melody progresses, the entire orchestra joins this musical dance. Strings add depth and richness, the brass brings brilliance, and the percussion holds everything together like a heart beating intensely. The tension continues to rise, building to a crescendo that keeps you on the edge of your seat, anticipating the climax.

Then, in a spectacular finale, the music reaches its peak. The sounds merge into a cry of passion and release, like a wave of emotions that floods over you and leaves you breathless. "Arabian Nights" is a composition inspired by the magic and mystery of "One Thousand and One Nights". This piece transports you to a world of oriental tales, with majestic palaces, exotic bazaars, and endless deserts. Hypnotic melodies and enveloping rhythms immerse you in an atmosphere full of charm and adventure, evoking the stories of Scheherazade and her captivating narrations. I am delighted to present to you my latest creation, "Sunrise Swing." This piece was designed to instantly transport you to a tropical beach at sunrise, with the sound of waves and the warmth of the morning sun.

In creating this melody, I integrated elements of reggae to offer that relaxing atmosphere specific to a morning on the beach. I didn't want it to be overwhelming, but just to bring a sense of vacation and relaxation. In addition to reggae, I added influences of Electro Swing and Nu Jazz to bring extra dynamism and originality to the composition.

From the listener's perspective, this melody is meant to bring a smile and a sense of well-being. It is perfect for summer days or moments when you want to disconnect and relax after a busy day. The overall vibe is happy and calming, with accents of energy and sensuality that keep the listener engaged throughout.

Regarding the instrumental arrangement, I opted for a variety that pleasantly surprises: bass guitar, percussion, synthesizer, flute, and even banjo and clarinet, all complementing each other harmoniously and being in a continuous dialogue. I aimed to create a complex and rich sound, yet one that remains pleasant and accessible to the ear.

I hope "Sunrise Swing" brings you joy and relaxation, just as it did for me during the creation process. It is a perfect piece to accompany you in moments of leisure and to provide a sonic refuge away from the daily hustle and bustle.

Doctor Oscillator (aka Sidney Morton-Wight) is 16 years old and has been making electronic music for a significant portion of his life. Most recently, he has released his third album titled ‘Sonic Spectrum’ on multiple platforms (inclusive of Spotify, Apple Music, and iTunes). A 14 track splash of electronic colour, Sonic Spectrum is indicative of Doctor Oscillator’s work to date. Doctor Oscillator’s specialty sounds are created with keyboards, synthesisers and drum machines along with improvised samples and field recordings which he features on his YouTube channel alongside equipment demonstrations and music clips of his work.

Nibriell is the pseudonym under which I sign my musical and literary works. I was born in Romania, a beautiful country in Eastern Europe, but I also live in the UK. For personal reasons and symbolism, the pseudonym is inspired by the names Saint Nicholas (Ni) and Archangel Gabriel (briell). 

     As for my musical activity, I do not define myself through traditional terms such as artist, musician, or composer, but rather as a music creator. This term is much more suitable for my musical activity. I have only one regret: not being born with the talent to sing or possess a musical voice. 

     However, my passions for music and literature have been cultivated with interest throughout my life. With the advent of AI in our lives, it has been very successful in producing high-quality vocalizations, which instantly encouraged me to start creating melodies. 

     Therefore, in my creative workshop, DAW software, music editing, and AI technology are the tools through which I express my vision. By using AI to generate the distinctive voice of my pieces and recreate the sounds specific to traditional or archaic instruments, I bring to life the stories I present to you. 

     My entire creation, from one end to the other, tries to tell a story, whatever it may be. From myths and legends worldwide to stories I create, they are dressed in melodies and harmonies that exceed language and culture, touching a universal chord of human emotion. With each composition, my goal is to open a window to imaginary worlds, inviting the listener to explore ancestral myths, personal narratives, or those already existing worldwide. 

     Using a mix of modern sounds and traditional elements, I aim to create a bridge between the past and the present, between the real and the fantastic, offering the listener an auditory experience and an emotional and spiritual journey.

     So, Nibriell is the pseudonym that unites all these creative sides and expresses the desire to create and the belief that art, in all its forms, is a vehicle for understanding, compassion, and connection among people, regardless of their origins or borders. This is the path I have chosen to follow, one in which every note and word contributes to creating a more extensive work of all humanity, an ode to the beauty and complexity of life.

     Although AI plays an essential and decisive role in my work, it does not define its direction or quality at all. I entirely write the texts and melodic lines, and the voice generated by it is the product of my strict vision and supervision.

Hi! I'm David De Quinto, a passionate and multifaceted composer. My main motivation for creating music is to express my moods. Throughout my career, I have learned and composed classical and tonal music, and gradually, I have been experimenting with other compositional forms such as modes, exotic scales, pitch class set, Bartók's axes, cardinal points, and atonalism.

I had the privilege of learning harmony and tonal composition, as well as jazz, from the great composer, bassist, choir and orchestra director, and excellent teacher Julio Blasco, to whom I am deeply grateful for his teachings. Additionally, I explored new sonorities and discovered the works of Bartók, Philip Glass, among many others, atonal music, and musique concrète through my instrumental training and music didactics professor, Nieves Hernández, whose guidance has been invaluable.

I love composing ethereal and ambient music, though I often return to my classical roots with its characteristic instrumentation. Synthesizers are essential in my compositions as they allow me to explore unique textures and atmospheres.

At 51 years old, life has greatly influenced my musical career, providing me with a variety of both good and bad experiences. My musical influences include artists like Brian Eno, John Carpenter, Paul McCartney, Jean-Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream, Aphex Twin, Nacho Goberna, Mike Oldfield, Erik Satie, Kebu, and Arvo Pärt.

The genres I enjoy composing the most vary depending on my mood, but I often lean towards creating sad and melancholic pieces. I enjoy composing and listening to lofi, ambient, dark ambient, ambient black metal, minimalist music, psybient, illbient, and dark wave. I am particularly proud of "Veil of Mist" and "Arabian Nights" because they explore atmospheres that are different from what I usually compose, and I believe they turned out quite well.

Currently, I have several projects in mind, including creating a series of symphonic poems for 4 or 5 synthesizers and for flute, violin, viola, cello, and piano. I am also exploring synthwave composition and have several pending collaborations that I am excited about.

At this stage of my life, my biggest dream is to compose music that expresses my feelings, and it brings me joy when listeners can decipher the emotions I try to convey with my compositions. Besides music, I enjoy writing short stories, especially horror, and listening to a lot of music, as music is life for me.

I began in music as a form of personal expression, finding it easier to compose a piece to explain how I feel than to say it in words, as I am a person of few words. Nach über 18 Jahren habe ich die lang verlorene Liebe zum Musikauflegen wiederentdeckt. Es ist, als hätte ich einen vertrauten, alten Freund wiedergefunden, der mich aus den Fesseln des Alltags befreit und meine Seele reinigt. In diesen Momenten, wenn die ersten Takte durch die Lautsprecher hallen, vergesse ich die Zeit. Die Sorgen und Verpflichtungen des täglichen Lebens verblassen, während ich mich in den Rhythmen und Melodien verliere. Diese Wiederentdeckung ist ein Abenteuer, ein freudiges Wiedersehen mit einem Teil meines Selbst, den ich lange vergraben hatte. Natürlich probiere ich mich erst einmal wieder aus, erkunde neue Klänge und Techniken, und es erfüllt mich mit unbändiger Freude, wenn es mir gelingt, jemanden mit meiner Musik zu berühren, ihn oder sie mitzureißen. Es ist erstaunlich, wie Musik, diese universelle Sprache, Brücken schlagen und Herzen erreichen kann. Jeder Track, den ich auflege, ist ein Ausdruck meiner innersten Gefühle, ein Fenster zu meiner Seele. Und in diesen Augenblicken, weiß ich, dass ich genau dort bin, wo ich hingehöre.
