About this track, I have to say I was looking for that strange feeling right before it rains. It´s as if the darkness slowly swallows the light. These past few weeks it´s been raining on and off, so i took the chane to sanp some photos at the park. I´m quite satisfied with how it turned out. At least to me, it gives that sensation of imminet rain. Greetings and enjoy!

Sobre este tema tengo que decir que buscaba la sensación rara que hay antes de llover. Parecen las tinieblas tragándose la luz poco a poco. Estas últimas semanas ha estado lloviendo de forma intermitente, asique aproveche para sacar algunas fotos en el parque. Estoy bastante conforme con lo que ha salido. Al menos a mi me da esa sensación de lluvia inminente. Saludos y disfruten!

In this special we speak with the local author Elaine Klaassen about her book La Penultima: With A Rose In Its Eye (https://www.amazon.com/PENULTIMA-ROSE-ITS-EYE/dp/B0D92NTR9C). Klaassen has also written for the local newspaper SouthSide Pride (https://southsidepride.com/columnists/elaine-klaassen/) for many years. The author wished for the following words about socialism from Ricardo Levins Morales and Ed Felien to also be shared:

I felt like Ricardo and Ed sounded very similar in their views about socialism.

The words socialism and capitalism, often hot-button words, appear sparingly. In our interview he said that by socialism he means “what’s good for people—every species needs safety, and real safety means safety for everyone, that is, equality … Socialism can encompass a range of social and economic arrangements. When a socialist system hurts people and the environment, it is betraying its mission.”

"Frey’s people want you to believe socialists are somehow scary and different.
Socialists want a world based on love for your neighbor and hope for your community. We must care for the homeless and the hungry because they are our brothers and our sisters.

Somehow, at some point, believing in loving thy neighbor as thyself became un-American. And, somehow, the people who fight mightily for the rich and powerful came to call themselves Christians."

Layered and meticulously composed sound structures of synthetic parallelism, where conceptual Eno encounters meandering soundscapes and polyrhythmic bursts.

Inspiration for the single Multi (and the upcoming Theory of album) comes from the idea of mirror worlds and the parallel universes. Visualising parallel concept stories by illustrations, videos or storyboards are important phase of the creative process which leads to thematic approach to composing. With the visualised storylines musical arrangements will have reasoning.

Key theme for the Multi was composed with exploring various chord progressions and melodic lines with raw polyphonic synthesis to achieve minimalistic yet rhythmically rich outcome. Different parts were tied together with experimental bridges with tape delay feedback and filters. 

Jori Larres is Finnish composer based in Helsinki. Already started early 1990s with exploring synthesis and electronic music as well other musical explorations with bands like Dubstitute, Instamatic Futures, Moon Unit and Lost Frequency Movement. Currently member of indie rock band Small Peaces as guitarist.

My name is Rodolfo Bernkastel, and I compose music like someone walking through a forest without a map.
