The Stockholm-based diggers discovered a shared love for diverse flavours of music, through their initial connection at Monument in its inception years. Forging a long-lasting friendship you can feel reflected in their mix.

"We had a lot of fun playing this set together as we felt a lot of freedom to do our own thing with the timeslot (23:40-03:30), playing on the second stage (Haven) and knowing the festival very intimately. It was especially fun as we had played there the year before as well together with @celadon, opening the main stage on Saturday. So to get to do a night time set with some weirder selections was a blast.

This section of the mix is from the middle of the set and we felt it represents the overall mood the best."

G WOKE

This assignment has challenged me the most. I had to be able to jump between 40 bpm throughout the set and it was challenging! I recorded a couple times and on my final recording, my dog jumped on me @around early 23 mins and made me accidentally hit the pause button lol.  
I recovered quickly though and it later made me think of how this sort of mistake could happen anywhere (djs also mix in crowded areas). I put Mykki, my pup, as the profile picture hehe. 

I used beat matching, phrasing, eq's, and loops! I only looped twice, and felt like with all the BPM changes, that it was enough of a challenge. After listening to it all the way through, I definitely could have made a different song selection/lineup of songs on this mix to better convey the story I was going for in my head when preparing for this set. I only knew one song from the Module 1 Crate (Midnight Starring), and could have spent more time getting to know the rest of the music a little bit better to spruce it up a bit more. I'm still struggling with the idea of playing slower BPM music in sets, and really wanted to push myself in that regard during this assignment.
