Scratchy and particularly intense, fusion between vibrations obtained using different mixtures of sound timbres coming from vintage electronic instruments and impactful effects... these songs were created on the fly and on impulse, just as water flows along a stream, overwhelming everything and shaping the path it finds itself having to travel, so the soul follows each note taking it on a journey along the path of life

Supplice Project -  The long Way

⸸ Unfinished But Honest ♄

This project explores the multimedia-art of classical and contemporary musical culture, merging traditional and experimental forms of sound and visuals. 

At its core is Dmitri Shostakovich’s Chamber Symphony op. 110a, reimagined through a low-fi aesthetic with elements of glitch and break. Balancing personal perception with collective memory, the project presents the symphony as a form of “witches’ music” — a reference to the Night Witches, the Soviet female pilots of WWII, whose story has become a symbol of courage and resilience.

Through generative noise and indirect sampling, the project harmonizes opposites, examining how personal experience and public knowledge can be unified in a single artistic form.

She's stuck of witch

Cette pièce est une plongée dans l’écoute à travers un des fondements de la musique acousmatique : la prise de son proche.
Elle joue musicalement sur plusieurs niveaux, dont voici les principaux :
- Des jeux d’espaces de projection puisque le premier mouvement est multiphonique en deux couronnes de 8HP chacune ; tandis que le second mouvement (après 8’35) est hybride avec une stéréophonie « traditionnelle » interprétable et une couronne de 8hp multiphonique.
- L’idée de cycle déclinée dans le premier mouvement en un vortex gestuel proche de la séquence jeu alors que dans le second mouvement elle s’organise en cycles rythmiques.
La peau, le frottement, la percussion y sont très présents également. J’ai dans l’oreille les magnifiques sonorités d’un musicien avec qui j’ai le plaisir de travailler depuis quelques temps : Michele Rabbia.

Eric Broitmann is a composer and performer of Electroacoustic Music.

He studied with Roger Cochini at the academy of music in Bourges and with Denis Dufour at the academy of music in Paris.

His compositions have been played in various events and festivals (Le Forum de la jeune création musicale, Foliesphonies, Elektrophonie, L’espace du son de Musique et Recherche, Synthèse, Le Palais de Tokyo, Electromania, Futura).

He also compose for danse.
Eric Broitmann  collaborates with Motus  since 2008.
He organises évents, concerts and makes stages for Young school public.


Look inside myrself, look inside me own heart and my emotions, ...perspectives that lead me to look for new forms of communication, new forms of musical and artistic touch,.... the sound is the vibration of the soul, ... we ride these vibrations whenever we want  escape
