in the history of life on earth, there have been a number of times in which the extinction rate rose significantly above the expected background rate of extinction. five such events stood out to early paleontologists as having particularly high extinction rates. these have come to be known as "the big five" mass extinctions.
the following five tracks are reconstructions of what our ancestors would have experienced as they endured these five cataclysmic events.
our jawless fish ancestors in the ordovician, our early tetrapod ancestors in the devonian, our cynodont ancestors in the permian, our basal mammalian ancestors in the triassic, and our proto-primate ancestors of the cretaceous each lived through and survived each of these events. if they hadn't, this album would not exist. let us honor their legacy as best we can.

Evidence for the flood. Sedimentary rock layers lie conformably over each other, without evidence of erosion between them. This is the case even when the layers are unconventional. For example, entire sections of layers are missing in some locations, which represents gaps of tens to hundreds of millions of years, according to the conventional geologic column. Yet there is no evidence of erosion where the missing layers should be. In other instances, older rocks are situated on top of younger rocks, and do so over dozens of square kilometres. Once more, the layers sit perfectly over one another without surface disturbance. What explains this kind of evidence best? Long-age processes or a single global flood event?

As the habitat of nature is diminishing, which it is on this planet, there is less natural spaces and untouched nature than ever in human history on this planet. Not only do animals lose their habitat, but also the spirits of the earth.

Earth spirits don't go into extinction like animal species do. They more go into this banished realm, where they exist, but they're not here anymore.

My intention with this class is going to be to create the invitation, the connection for them to re-enter the planet sphere, this planet, to accompany our bodies in living. 

When you lose those natural spirits, there is like a piece of the puzzle that's not as available.

So what can you and your body be to access, invite, invite the nature spirits, the natural spirits that have lost their habitat?

What energy, space and consciousness, what vibe can your body be to re-establish, to be that habitat?
