On 4ZZZ Paradigm Shift show we get an update on the status of imprisoned activist and journalist Julian Assange.

John Jiggens interviews John Shipton (Julian’s father) about John Lyons speculation that Julian is about to be released unconditionally. Regardless of the truth or otherwise of that announcement, Julian Assange has been destroyed on a personal level. He has had a stroke in Belmarsh, his mental health seriously compromised by mistreatment over a period of 13 years since he released classified information about the Iraq war and corruption inside the DNC to get warmonger Hilary Clinton elected instead of Trump in 2016.

Hilary’s mantel Joe Biden is coming to Australia in May to chair the Quad designed to make war against China. If there is to be an announcement, there will be no wikileakes about the warmongers plans as they await the death of the messenger.

Anybody who's been following the extradition proceedings against Julian Assange will understand that this is a calculated abuse of the court system calculated to wear him and his supporters down in an endless cycle of appeals and counter appeals with the prosecution gets what it wants, no matter the result. Because no matter the result, Julian Assange remains in prison unable to speak for himself, a form of judicial warfare, that the UN Special Rapporteur confirmed amounted to torture, all the while, seeding the public debate with disinformation and character assassination.

Note: Following the original publication of this article, Alex Saab was extradited to Miami on October 16th 2021, and remains in prison awaiting an appeal.

On March 18, The Cape Verde Supreme Court approved the extradition of Venezuelan government envoy Alex Saab to the United States. Saab was en route to Iran to secure food and medicine deals for Venezuelan public programs last year when he was arrested in Cape Verde, at the request of the U.S. government under Donald Trump. He has been imprisoned in Cape Verde since June 2020. Saab is appealing the extradition.

The arrest of Saab is part of the U.S. government’s larger attack on Venezuela’s CLAP (Local Committees for Supply and Production) food distribution program. It is also a blatant violation of national sovereignty spanning several continents as the U.S. demands the right to arrest anyone, anywhere, for pursuing economic development free of U.S. dictates.

He has spent the past few months documenting the explosion of settler violence in the West Bank and the increase of political and religious repression against Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem. Most recently, Loffredo spent time within the ranks of the Jewish Israeli nationalists invading Gaza to establish Jewish settlements and blocking humanitarian aid for starving Palestinians at the Gaza border. The Israelis admitted to war crimes and clamored for genocide.
