Een nieuw jaar goed beginnen met een spiksplinternieuwe mixtape van de Shit is Bangin’ boys DJ DNS & DJ EZD aka Gorillaz in the mix! Voor deze Bangin’ With Heat (vol.1) is het al om bekende recept weer uit de kast getrokken: Scratches, mash ups, oude tracks, nieuwe tracks varierend van funk, soul, pop, hiphop, trap, drum&bass & reggae.

Sinds 2006 hebben DJ’s DNS & EZD hun muzikale krachten gebundeld en zijn zij de drijvende krachten achter Shit is Bangin’, een concept waarbij bangin’ muziek voorop staat, in de breedste zin van het woord.

DJ DNS is een van de beste turntablists van Nederland, zo heeft hij diverse DMC battles op zijn naam staan en is hij in 2012 NL Thre3style champ geworden wat hem naar Chicago heeft gebracht om ons kikkerlandje te vertegenwoordigen op de wereldkampioenschappen.

Shit is Bangin’ is meer dan alleen een feestje. Het is een gevoel, een state of mind die de DJ’s overbrengen op het publiek. Shit is Bangin’ verzandt niet in één stijl, maar hoppen eenvoudigweg van Blockrockin’ soul naar kinky reggae om daarna via pompende funk weer bij vuige Hiphop, Trap of Drum & Bass te belanden.
