What began as a love song in late 2020 developed into much more over the course of 2021. We fall in love. We fall into despair. When we approached Victor about collaborating we had only one request: pour your heart our. We are so happy to share our song with the world, we hope you love it as much as we do. 

A note from Victor about the lyrics:

"I wrote the lyrics for Falling Deeper a few months after the passing of my father. We had this thing in the family of calling each other "melzinho", a word play that in portuguese stands in the middle of "my little fellow" (meuzinho) and, by pronounciation suggestion, "little honey" (melzinho). This little form of affection became a kind of a family symbol, to the point we all tattooed a little bee – myself, my father, my mother, brothers and sister. That was just before pandemic hit the world with its ruthless sentence. By the third month of the pandemic, my father left us. He was a medical doctor working in the frontline of covid combat and was exposed to a heavy viral charge. Something very curious happened to the family the week after his passing: we each saw a bee flying around the house or a little one dead in the laundry room, or walking in the boarder of a coffee cup. We all had this similar experience. And we kept having them. As if he'd come by and visit to see how we're doing. A way he found to be present. And it warms our spirits everytime we see a bee. Makes us remember that life is great and full of mysteries. It is a reminder that pandemic shall pass. And saves us in the darkest hours, when we feel like falling deep into the void."
