Lyrics and melody written back in 1998 based on a dream or maybe a fantasy about a girl I never dared to talk to about other things then music and film. In my head I made up this story about a short romantic summer fling that just died out when august hit. 

Then life hit. 
Summer turned to fall. Vacation turned to school or work. 
Love turned to Loneliness. But in my head I was still walking home with my August Queen on that edge between reality and fiction. On a wire. 

Lyrics and melody are written by Hans Josef Tandsether. The Delta Wakes is his AI-project to be able to bring life to old songs. The producing and vocals are AI-generated based on uploaded demos.

The reason I'm able to create music, take risks, and follow my inspiration is because of the courage she's given me my whole life. When I'm in the studio working on something, I think about her grinding at work, and it pushes me to make something she'd be proud of.

This track carries that energy - the love, support, and strength she's always shown me. Wanted her to have something to vibe to during her workday that reminds her how much she means to me.

Echoes of Light is an independent music producer who transforms emotion, memory, and real human experience into atmospheric, progressive and cinematic sound. The project was born during a period of deep personal loss, where music became a way to survive, to heal, and to give meaning to moments that words could no longer carry.

With roots in the classic hi-fi world of the 80s and 90s, and supported by formal training in sound engineering, Echoes of Light combines technical precision with emotional depth. Years of work in mixing through the Cambridge Music Technology program helped refine a unique approach to sound design — from controlling bleed in drum recordings to shaping immersive textures and expressive dynamics.

On the technical side, the project has been strongly informed by educators and engineers such as Dan Worrall and Mark Daniel Nelson, whose in-depth explanations of plugins, dynamics and mixing workflows helped shape a deeper understanding of modern audio. The creative inspiration itself, however, comes from within: from lived experience, personal dedication and a constant search for honest expression.

Musically, Echoes of Light blends progressive metal, atmospheric rock, and cinematic soundscapes, creating tracks that feel intimate, emotional, and expansive. Every composition carries a fragment of a story — a moment of truth captured in sound.
