Rick Rubin once said to create things for you to enjoy and the rest will follow. For many of us music can be healing, therapeutic and more often than not - even transcendent. Self Care is the name of the first dance party I produced - a homage to the safe haven that dance floors can become. The first mix in this series is a collection of some of the songs that I put on when I want to feel good, I hope you do too.

"Story" : A user of a BBS (like the Internet, but older) asked me if I would compose the title music for the game he was programming at the time on the Commodore Amiga (it was the same guy who requested a song for his project in 1999).
I composed this track but the game itself was never finished. So, that's it. ;)

As I mentioned, it was made 'some' years ago, but if I composed it today, it would be the same.

You know: It's all about the music - the language of the heart(s). Not about 'higher, faster, further' or the technical possibilities... (of course, it's meant in a friendly way) ;)

Born in 1973 in Berlin (west).
First steps on the piano in 1976.
First own 'band' (together with a school friend) in the early 1980s.
Synth band "Modern Age" since 1992.
Named as "Soundvortex" ("SVX") since 1993.

At just 14 years old, AVZY MACK is already making waves in the music industry as a talented singer-songwriter. With a powerful voice and a natural talent for crafting relatable and emotionally charged lyrics, she has been captivating audiences with her performances since she was just a child.
Growing up, AVZY MACK was surrounded by music and began singing and writing songs at a young age. She quickly discovered a love for performing and began honing her craft by participating in local talent shows and singing competitions.
