2023년 첫번째 벌트 팟캐스트는 텔아비브 출신으로 현재는 앤트워프를 중심으로 활동중인 테크노 아티스트 Yogg의 한시간 세트와 함께 합니다. 2018년 스코파빅의 3주년 밤을 위해 벌트에서 플레이하여 우리에게도 친숙한 Yogg는, 미래지향적인 레이블 Parallax Records를 이끌며 유명한 퀴어파티 Homopatik와 텔아비브의 테크노 클럽 The Block Club의 레지던트 디제이로 활동해왔습니다. 우아함을 담은 역동적인 그루브를 표현하는 Yogg의 특별한 믹스와 함께 2023년 활기찬 새해를 시작해봅니다.

The first vurt podcast of 2023 is a one-hour set by Yogg, a techno artist from Tel Aviv who is now based in Antwerp. Yogg is familiar to us from playing at vurt for Scopavic's third anniversary night in 2018. He has been a resident DJ at famous queer party Homopatik and Tel Aviv's techno club The Block Club, and fronting forward-looking label Parallax Records since 2014. 
Let's start new year 2023 with Yogg's special mix contains dynamic groove and edge of elegance.

이스라엘 텔아비브 테크노 씬의 주요 인물중 한명으로 현재는 벨기에 앤트워프를 기반으로 활동하고 있는 Yogg의 사운드는 역동적이고 그루브한 접근방식을 특징으로 하며, 실험적이고 앰비언트적인 요소를 위한 공간이 남겨져 있다. 그의 음악적 배경은 우아함으로 표현되고 있으며, 이는 그의 세트를 매우 특별하게 만드는 요소이다. 2014년 Parallax Records를 설립한 Yogg는 자신의 음악적 특성을 기반으로 더 깊이 탐구할 수 있는 자유를 만들어내었다.
음악에 대한 깊은 열정으로 그는 Berghain, Concrete(파리), Contact(도쿄), Vurt(서울)와 같은 클럽에서 공연할 수 있는 영예를 안았으며, 퀴어파티 Homopatik (독일), AVADON, 그리고 The Block Club (텔아비브)에서 레지던트 DJ로 활동하였다. 또한, Non-Series, Counterchange, Gradient, Tales Collective, Illegal Alien, 30D Records, Taapion, Scopavik와 같은 레이블들에서 작업물을 발표하고 있으며, 현재에도 새로운 작업과 협업, 리믹스를 끊임없이 계획하고 있다.

Considered as one of the leading figures in Tel Aviv’s techno scene, Yogg (Yuval Goren) soundscapes are characterized by a dynamic, groovy approach that leaves enough room for experimentation and ambient additions. His musical influences provided him with an edge of elegance, a feature that makes the selections in his sets so notable. Having created Parallax Records back in 2014, he managed to maintain his musical signature, ensuring the freedom to explore further and produce in accordance with his own standards.
His passionate approach to music has given him the honor of performing in institutions such as Berghain, Concrete (Paris), Contact (Tokyo), Vurt (Seoul), becoming a resident DJ at the famous queer party Homopatik (DE), AVADON , and  The Block Club (TLV). he Released his work on various labels such as Non-Series, Counterchange, Gradient, Tales Collective, Illegal Alien, 30D Records, and Remixing Shlømo on Taapion, Xanexx on Scopavik (South Korea) and more. 
As of today, Yogg have fresh releases, collaborations & remixes planned.

The Autonomicron: Chapter 1 (Autonomic Mix)

Ending the year with an awesome mix by @FlxK1, a Berlin-based DJ, producer, and label honcho. His perspective has been a big inspiration in the music scene since the late '90s, from killer work on various labels to unforgettable performances.

This mix is a shout-out to 25 years of Hidden Hawaii and 10 years of Nullpunkt Recordings. Some of it you could hear at our London party in August 2023. Big thanks to Felix for this mix, and here's to many more awesome releases in the future.

A return to New York after quality time spent with the family. These trips are a great mental break from the hustle and bustle of city life. The heat waves have subsided to a degree, breezes sweep the green trees throughout Brooklyn. After a break, I’m happy to be out walking again, street by street, watching life unfold in the warm New York summer. On the horizon though is my favorite time of the year, Fall will make itself known and plenty of good tidings with it.
