Following up on his recent smashing rework of Kaiser Souzai's 'In Excess', Manhattan-born DJ/producer Mafia B returns to ICONYC Red with the new two-track EP, 'Supermassive'.
 
Explosive from the first beat, the opening track 'Supermassive' takes no prisoners as an alluring atmosphere contorts around pulsating kicks and flickering synthetic embers, before a familiar vocal hook slides into the mix in tantalizing fashion. Deep inside the machinery devised by Mafia B, dense percussive stabs add a most menacing feel as they set the stage for an eerie breakdown where a melange of vocal layers collide like spinning plates for a truly narcotic moment, with the unstable concoction bursting in a formidable third act  Heady and intoxicating, Mafia B's 'Supermassive' is sure to provide a bigger bang than you're looking for.
 
On the flip side, Mafia B links up with On Smash for a blistering cut that takes the energy to the next level with a no-holds-barred attitude as razor-sharp hi-hats steer over a throbbing low end.  Now, with 'Imma Go Live' running on all cylinders, techno-laced synths gilde with irrepressible sway as they traverse through a cascade of vocal chops before leading to a glowing pad that lights up the road to a monumental break. A certified midnight stormer, 'Imma Go Live' comes back in with a whole new gear for a high-octane outing that showcases Mafia B's technical prowess and sense of finesse, even while playing with the sharpest of knives.
