The story behind the song is simple but powerful. Fresh out of prison, the artist took a friend's advice to scrap an old release and record something new instead. The very first four lines laid down in the booth immediately formed the incredible hook, generating an electrifying "awe" moment in the studio. This track is a celebration of that return—back with family, back to the music, and confidently declaring their enduring, seasoned presence in the streets: "I'm back and better."

Alpha is my first release on Henri Bergmann’s Automatik imprint, and it’s a track that came from getting lost in shifting rhythms and tension-driven grooves. I wanted to make something that feels hypnotic and always moving, something that pulls you into the low end and keeps you there. It carries a lot of the UK textures that shaped me and sits in that space between raw energy and control. Grateful to share this one with you, and excited for it to finally be out in the world. I'm a 35-year-old music creator based in Leyland, United Kingdom. Ever since I picked up my first keyboard at age 15, I've been passionately exploring every facet of music—from writing and arranging to producing and performing. Over the past two decades, I've honed my craft, continually pushing my creative boundaries and cultivating a distinct sonic identity.

Mayeul c’est du Rap, du Rock, de l’Électro et de la Pop. « Je n’aime pas le rap mais ce que tu fais c’est top » est peut être la phrase qu’il a le plus entendu de sa carrière.  L'artiste breton s’est fait remarqué sur le plateau de l'émission The Voice, avec notamment sa reprise de Believer du groupe Imagine Dragons. Performance qui comptabilise aujourd’hui plus de 1,5M de vues sur Youtube.  Après avoir démontré son talent sur quatre passages télévisés, dont un en direct au sein de l’équipe de Soprano, Mayeul cumule les performances en live. Avec près de 70 concerts en moins de deux ans, le rappeur qu’il est un artiste incontournable sur scène, son lieu de prédilection . Influencé par Orelsan, Twenty One Pilots ou encore Post Malone, Mayeul marque sa différence entre se détachant des codes et ça qui plaît.  
Mayeul musicien ET comédien. En 2021 il intègre le casting du célèbre feuilleton de TF1 "Demain nous appartient", dans lequel il incarne le rôle d'Apollon, un professeur de musique mystérieux. Il enchaîne avec sa présence sur la saison 9 de la série Skam diffusée par France TV. En août 2022 Mayeul intègre le casting de Rodolph le Musical, la dernière création d'Elie Chouraqui qui a affiché complet sur les 6 représentations en Suisse.
