Episode 81: Matilda the Musical

For our second "The Year is Still Young" movie, we talked about another 2022 stage to screen adaptation of a musical that centres kids, 13 the Musical. This is a story about Evan, a boy who moves to a new town just as he's planning his bar mitzvah. Now, he has to make new friends, so he can have the party he's always wanted.

Episode 82: 13 The Musical

The Impirios is a 160m luxury sailing ship with 5 mighty masts on the main deck, with many sails still furled.
  Julian and another nearly 200 people are on one of the 3 decks as the impressive cruise ship prepares to depart.
  They all have one thing in common: they want to do something, be active and make a difference. The crew are mainly scientists, researchers and doctors, but the crew also includes former astronauts, divers and cooks.
All of the crew have personal reasons for participating in this trip. In return for free board and lodging, they have decided to volunteer their knowledge and know-how to serve the earth and a future worth living in. For this they maintain the disguise as a normal cruise, because not everyone would be thrilled if the actual objective was known.
  Therefore the Impirios is far more than the exterior suggests. The inside of the apparently luxury sailboat was expanded into a research ship and the team is versatile and prepared for all conceivable situations. Because what will happen there in the next 3 years should remain secret until further notice.
  The battle-hardened crew secures the ship against possible encroachments, while the scientists search for alternative agents. They study the state of the oceans and collect all the data that can help find new ways to a better future. They conduct research to find alternative, effective remedies against diseases. They are looking for solutions to ensure the survival of our animal and plant species and to enable people to have a good symbiosis with their planet.
They want to get away from finance-driven thought structures, they want to see the big picture.
  Like Julian, who is fed up with constantly talking about changes because nothing is noticeably changing. People have been hiding behind words and discussions for too long, so that's the end of it now. He has decided that actions must now speak and finds many like-minded people on the Impirios who can make a difference and want to make the earth a better place.
  Your commitment will offer future generations a worthwhile future because now is the time to act.
