Germany's DJ bwin returns to First Second Label with a sub heavy offering of experimentational dubstep, bass, techno and trap for the dark smoke filled room in your brain. Moritz Paul aka Leibniz and Alex Hoppe aka CIO known for their label Hundert (alongside Felix Paul) have been pushing the boundaries of experimental bass, breaks, techno and dub and Cell Phone pushes their sound even further. Accompanied by a blissed out vibration filled remix from Berlin residing Cork born power house ELLLL this puts the icing on the cake for this already wobble heavy 12". The artwork, a combination of photography, paint and textiles is an extract from a cloth print by Irish artist and designer Shauna McGowan.

This was a simpler time, a dreamy time, before the flickering screens and the ringing of a damn cell phone…

DJ bwin pays homage to the sound of proper Dubstep on a new EP. The fresh faced producer has bold intentions and delivers a masterclass in bass weight on First Second Label. Watch out, you’ll probably hear this one damaging a sound system near you soon.

The rooms were empty, each one sprawled out one after the other as they wandered between the vast corridors casting glances down hallways and into chambers. This place was magical, a temple of paradise in which wild things had happened and great kings and princes had reigned.

Who knew what fabled lore had been spoken of between these walls. The parties, the dances and the moments shared.

Now it sat empty, a temple for sublet, empty and waiting for the highest bidder.

Yet they never bid.

Glimmerman returns to First Second Label with a belter of an EP. One for the bass heads and the basement movers and shakers.

The bus weaved between towerblocks, the road was tightly packed with cars and the people hustling and bustling their way home from work under the smog. The city was dimly lit and it was hard to recognise the faces which passed by the window. Perhaps ge knew some of them from days gone by. After all, once upon a time he was out here everyday.

The bell rang suddenly and the doors rattled open.

He glanced upwards only to be greeted with a familiar smile. The kind he hadn’t seen for quite a while, the wild sort which meant that what came next was anyones guess.

Coe is set to release a stormer of a two track EP on First Second Label. This one holds no punches and is set for dark basements, big soundsystems and beyond. It bangs and rumbles with a throb.
