The  City - Take me away

This is my first ever song. I know it isn't a great idea to post your first work, but figured it would be nice so that I could see where I started even if I end up hating this song in the future.

It started out as a high BPM drum line, but then I didn't like how that was coming along so I scrapped it for now, but then this came along while I was figuring out chords and scales, so I made a simple chord progression and ended up liking how it sounded. Melodies were not a thing I really thought of, so I made a super simple one and decided to make it a little longer and double it. Then that's how this song came about.

This track results from many weeks of collaboration with individuals I know. It is my first ever track and one that I have been told is really good for a first song of my capabilities of which I do not know is good or bad. Hope you enjoy!
