Fisso & Spark's Breakspoll nominated debut album Future, released last December, not only showcased the Austrian based duos production skills and dance floor savvy, the singles taken from the album have showcased the roster of Ground Level artists. Clandestine & Corcyra Guest Mix - Future Breakz Live 4yr Anniversary Show

While working hard on their second album, due out later this year on Ground Level, Fisso & Spark took a little bit of time out to work on a collaboration with US rapper BBK, and the resulting monster is Earthquake! For the main breaks remix we tracked down Fingerlickin legends the Drumattic Twins and persuaded them to dust down their samplers, resulting in a funkier take on the original! Sasha Khan completed the package with an uplifting Drum & Bass remix!

Art Clandestine, based in Washington, DC, has been crafting his unique sound in electronic music since 1999. Starting out as "Finger Funk," he began cultivating his DJ identity with a distinctive blend of progressive and tech house interwoven with breaks. His dynamic mixes quickly gained traction, circulating through communities like Hybridized and NuSkoolBreaks.

Clandestine’s production career took off with "Parasomnia," a collaborative track with Phrakture, featured on Phrakture's Initiate Dream Sequence album and re-released on RUNE in 2015. Shortly after, he achieved his first official release by winning Aeron Aether’s "Twilight" remix competition, which led to multiple releases on Morphosis Records, VIM Records, and RUNE Recordings.

Since 2022, Clandestine has been streaming Rule of Rune alongside his life and music partner, Corcyra. Together, they’ve built an engaged online community on Twitch and TikTok, captivating audiences with deep, immersive sets that explore Progressive House and Melodic House & Techno. Their partnership brings a unique dynamic to the show, making Rule of Rune a central hub for fans of quality electronic music.

Andy Faze:

Andy Tappin is a DJ, Producer, Scientist and avid electronic music lover of over 15 years on the scene. Spinning everything from House, Techno & Trance, Andy has honed his craft into Breakbeat! Over the last 5 years Andy has established himself as a respected producer & DJ in the scene with over 50 releases, on more than 15 international, leading & influential record labels.

His progressive style and consistant slick production with-in the modern day Psybreaks sound, has earned him great respect and many fans. Many of Andy's releases have reached the top 100 charts in all major download stores and many of them reaching the top 50!

Andy has performed at various clubs and festivals here in the UK, across Europe, and has graced the same stages and nights with legendary acts such as - Eat Static, Cosmosis, The Orb, Green Nuns of the Revolution, System 7, Liquid Ross, Astralasia, Transglobal Underground, OOOD, Hedflux and Guadi to name a few. 

He helps run Sub Element Recordings, which was voted best new label in 2014 at - Breakspoll (The International Breakbeat Awards). Andy was also nominated for an award in 2013 along with DJ Fastbinder for best radio show (Future Breakz Live). Andy now runs his own Psybreaks podcast (Elements), which has gained over 20,000 subscribers (in just 18 months), welcomed massive support, and is growing each day! 

Mr Faze  has recieved support from respected artists such as - Nick Sentience, Hedflux, Bad Tango, Broken Eye, OOOD, Monk3ylogic, Chris Voro, Pale Penguin, Llupa, Too Dusty, AP3X, Martopeter, plus many others.

With already an extensive discography - many productions, remixes and a brand new album planned for the summer, the horizon looks bright! :)

California native, 'ALEVY8' (born Ryan Miller) has always had a passion for music. As an 80’s kid, he was fascinated with ‘Michael Jackson’ and found himself glued to the television trying to mimic his every move stating, “His moves were like magic and that’s where my love for breakdancing stems from”. As he got a little older he developed an appreciation for several other genres of music. Though, ultimately his love for Rock music inspired him to start a band, while in high school. He explained, “I was the lead singer with a lot to say and I had a platform for my voice to be heard. As the frontman on stage, it challenged me to find creative new ways to engage with the crowd and keep them entertained”. 

After moving to FL in 1998 he was introduced to ‘Underground Dance Music’. Instantly gravitating to its ground-pounding beats & heavenly melodies, he was hooked! He recalls, “Every time the DJ put the needle on the record, the dance floor would just erupt! It was a completely new experience and I was mesmerized by it”. He went to the record store the next day and bought his first Florida Breaks vinyl. 

After relocating to TX 5 years later (2003) he bought some turntables and began the journey of mixing records. In no time at all, ‘DJ Alevy8’ was born! He brought a different sound to the table, spinning ‘FL Funky Breakz’, gaining him the respect of local DJs and Promoters. He soon became a crowd favorite, quickly gaining traction with a growing fanbase from every show. Within his first year he branched out across the country and in a few short years was fortunate to share the stage with several amazing DJs, including some of the best in the world,  Tiesto, Paul Oakenfold, Darude, DJ Icey, Donald Glaude, Vicious Vic, Sidney Sampson, Starkillers, Jay Hardaway, and Swanky Tunes. 

Following several years in hiatus, ALEVY8 has been in the studio learning the ropes of production and fine-tuning his unique sound. He believes music is infinite & always evolving. Noting that his aim is finding that next level frequency for liftoff.

Sketi is here, bringing you big bass music. A multi genre producer, he brings you big, loud and brash tunes for complete aural entertainment, making sure you get your body moving. 

Sketi has released on some of the biggest labels in the breaks scene and has been excuslively signed to labels of equal stature including: EnVision, Expand, Ruff'N'Fresh and Bombtraxx. 

Mainly known for his big breakbeat assault, Sketi is now encompassing the whole bass spectrum, encapsulating, dubstep, dnb, glitch hop and so on. 

As Kayla once said:
"......like shimmering dinoflagellates in a dark shore....."

Starting off in the music industry as a drummer in his teens, Andy was playing regularly in his native Scotland, when he got interested in electronic dance music and production.

After a few years of crude production, he widened his skills to encompass DJing, coming of age just as the Big Beat explosion was hitting down, and began playing regularly in his adopted home of Derby. As the years went on and Big Beat became Nu Skool Breaks, Andy kept his finger on the pulse running nights in and around Derby and regularly getting guest DJs from around the country to play at his ‘Ground Level’ nights.

At the end of 2006, the steady flow of tracks being given to him by guest DJs gave him an idea, to provide an outlet for this music, and so Ground Level Records was born. Not knowing anything about running a record label, everything was a process of trial and error, the only motto was that no corners where cut, the vinyl records would be cut by the best guys, the remixes by the hottest talent and the artwork accompanying the release would be fresh and innovative, making sure a product came out that oozed quality. This seemed to do the trick, and by January 2008, 10 releases in, Ground Level was nominated as best Breakthrough label at the International Breakbeat Awards, Breakspoll.

Now over 50 releases in, Ground Level has grown from being purely a Breaks label to encompassing Electro and Fidget House, Dubstep, Nu Funk and Electronica, still using the no corners cut motto and ensuring every release oozes quality.

Andy hosts the monthly Ground Level Podcast on iTunes, as well as playing at Ground Level nights up and down the country, and has played with many of the big players in the breaks and bass music scenes including Plump DJs, Stanton Warriors, Drumattic Twins, Foamo, Jack Beats and Calvertron.
