Our neural networks are fundamentally different, individually and collectively. 
Where we focus our attention is more important than ever 
as positive feedback loops run rampant through our social networks. 

Practices that support embodiment are more essential than ever. 

I offer the concept of Somatic Cybernetics to understand this new realm of therapy that is specifically important for us - as cyborgs, in today's day and age. 

Somatic Cybernetics is the integration of bodily awareness and movement ("somatic") 
with the principles of systems, feedback loops, and interconnected flows ("cybernetics"). 

It highlights the dynamic interplay between the body’s natural intelligence, technological systems, and the ecological networks that shape our existence.

In the context Somatic Cybernetics, Ecstatic Dance is held as a practice of co-creating flow states, where music (as a system of sound) interacts with bodily movement and awareness. Dancers embody the feedback loops between the organic body, rhythmically charged soundscapes, and the interconnected digital and environmental realms.
