Strange Enchantment

I knew The Flaming Lips were my kind of band when I heard the song 'A Spoonful Weighs a Ton'. This is a tribute to that song, the musical stylings and incredible drumming of Steve Drozd

Roger Roger is the synth-pop project of Micah Tamblyn and Dustin Spillman, blending retro textures and modern heart. Their shimmering synths, pulsing bass lines, and soaring hooks soundtrack late-night drives and lost conversations.
At its core, Roger Roger is a transmission — a message sent out into the dark, searching for connection and finding beauty along the way.

From Lincoln's county seat, where the wheat grows gold and uniform, ThinWhiteJukebox cast his life-raft adrift to the north sea winds, and landed on the shores of the low country.


Today he resides in and around the beautiful city of Utrecht, from where his scattered troubador mind creates his unique fusion of tender melancholia, folk, lo-fi, psychedelia, electronica. 

Forged under the influence of Neil Young, Radiohead, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Grandaddy, The Flaming Lips, The Beach Boys, David Bowie, Spiritualized, Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave, Tom Waits, Syd Barrett, The Smiths, The Kinks, Fleet Foxes, Father John Misty, Daniel Johnson, Primal Scream, Curtis Mayfield, Marvin Gaye, Feist and many others.

Melodic folk rock from the Welsh countryside imbued with psychedelic lyrics, humour and a distinctly pastoral charm that blurs the line between myth and memory.

Alex Summerlin is an eclectic alternative and folk-rock musician who has played music professionally for over a decade around the Little Rock, AR, and Nashville, TN areas. Originally hailing from Bryant, AR, Alex was drawn to music at a young age by the generations of working musicians in his family.  He started playing cover music in local bars and clubs as young as 12 years old, playing music steadily throughout his teens and twenties.

Alex started writing music in college as a passion project to break out of the limitations he felt playing cover songs. There, he met fellow long-time musicians and collaborators Rick Scott and Chad Terrell, and they joined Alex to write and produce songs from their home studio in Maumelle, AR (WaterWoods Studio). 

Since then, Alex, Chad, and Rick have continued writing and producing songs that reflect influences from several genres and three generations of music they wish to share with anyone who will listen.
