We are super honored to feature this great remix by Yuli Fershtat, who also releases under the project name Perfect Stranger. When we were brainstorming who would be our most favorite artist to remix 'High Tide', (our 4/4 progressive song on 'Flight Patterns'), Yuli Fershtat was top on our list. We were delighted when he agreed, and he has since redefined 'High Tide' to make it the amazing song we now present to you today.

Birds of Paradise is California-born producers Torin Goodnight (Bird of Prey) and Tyler Gibson (Gibson).  Since their debut in 2011, they have traveled the world, playing main stage at many of the biggest and best electronic music festivals.  Having a similar aesthetic but still maintaining an individual approach, they combine forces in a symbiotic project to work towards a common vision and master the art of collaboration.  The duo plays to its strengths- patience, beauty, and depth to offer a truly original sound of rolling percussive breakbeats, progressive melodies, incredible sound design and twisted psychedelic layers.  Their fusion of elements, both natural and synthetic, create an engaging bio-digital landscape that leaves little to the imagination.  It will take your ears only a moment to realize that you have uncovered something special.

Producing sophisticated psychedelic Chill Out music is a discipline within the electronic 
music scene that is similar to playing Jazz in a certain respect: It needs maturity and 
extensive musical experience to go beyond the scope of standards, to become really 
good and extraordinary. This might have to do with the fact that this kind of music is
not aiming a busy dance floor, rising its hands and shouting out loud during the breaks. 
Instead of that, it is made for the individual mind and therefore includes a less functional
but pretty intellectual, mature and also very artistic moment. Seen in front of this background,
the history of Koan gives some interesting hints about the astonishing musical quality of 
this Russian duo.
