Old Dusty Trail is an EP that I produced in 2020. Of course that was a crazy year for us all with the Covid-19 outbreak, everyone being quarantined. Etc. While I was locked down, I locked in on sampling old music on YouTube, and this EP came to be, out of me just sampling differerent parts of a song, chopping them into loops, and then mapping them out into songs. When I first was making the EP, I kinda made it with the intention of eventually rapping on all the songs, but time got away from me. Something to point out was, in 2020, I was living with my girlfriend at the time, (my wife now) living in my first apartment. Smoking weed, taking psychedelics, kinda bummed out because I had just did my best concert before covid. I was working at my first job again lol. Ben & Jerry's in the Delmar Loop. Uhh yeah, I guess my point is I had a lot of freetime. I was heavily influenced by the rappers I was listening to, to name a few, I was listening to Earl Sweatshirt, AKAI SOLO, Mavi, Sage The 64th Wonder, etc.
