I wanted to experiment with samples more so I pulled some from a couple Pink Floyd songs. My parents listened to them a decent bit when I was growing up and I think they influenced my taste in music quite a bit

This is a song that was inspired by the bravery of a little girl called Ruweida who was shot in the head by a Houthi sniper in the Yemeni city of Taiz. See the video

Ruweida survived but was clearly traumatised by the shooting. 10-year-old Amri (Ruweida's brother) pulled her to safety after she was shot in the head, putting himself in danger.

It's a long song and there are nods and winks to Pink Floyd.

I'm a composer+songwriter+musician with poor self-marketing skills and no allegiance to a style/scene. In an earlier age, I played live music (guitar, bass, vocals) with various originals bands... but I've always been much more interested in writing+recording (or jamming with talented musicians) than playing for an audience.

I'd describe the majority of my vocal music as pop (in various subgenres) with interesting lyrics, mostly performed by myself with a few instruments+microphones and some software. I also have quite a few instrumentals (adapted chamber music, soundtrack etc) that I'll be posting eventually.
