My name is Pierre Bohemond and I am an Orchestral and Chamber Music composer.  My style ranges from modern classical to modern romantic with musical influences spanning from Rimsky-Korsakov and Igor Stravinsky to progressive rock. 

In 2014, I successfully composed and publish a ballet “Dreams Interrupted” choreographed by Trinette Singleton, a former Joffrey Ballet alumna and artistic director at the Repertory Dance Theater in Allentown, PA. 2020 Successful Call for Scores
At the end of 2020, I submitted a chamber music composition "The Shores Of Phoenicia" for clarinet & piano (Adapted from Phoenicia Symphonic Suite op.35) to the Allentown Symphony Orchestra’s Call for Scores: New Music Series Chamber Music. My submission “Moroccan Spices” for Violin and Cello was selected to be performed live on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, as part of the concert of The Allentown Symphony Orchestra – New Chamber Music program “Food & Flavors”.

“Cubist Dances – Ballet Suite in 5 Dances.”  Themes inspired by Picasso’s painting “Les Demoiselles d’Avignon” and other cubism era artists, written for Chamber Orchestra (Woodwinds, Strings, and Percussion) for 23 – 28 musicians – orchestral score composed with Steinberg Dorico. The Ballet flows across five cubist dances bringing to life this technical ballet. Strong rhythms and seductive melodies spice up the scenes.  Tango and Bossanova themes in Dance No.2 & No.5 bring out the Latin magnetism of the cubist area.

The Red Bench Ballet (Pas de Deux) for Cello & Piano.  A short love story stage around “The Red Bench” about 4.5 minutes long

Starry Night - Cello Sonata (Cello & Piano) Ballet inspired by The Starry Night Painting by Vincent van Gogh and his turbulent state-of-mind to be performed at the Museum of Modern Art in NYC with live Cello and Piano or Keyboard.
