i wanted to die while singing this b/c im not a soprano and im not used to singing this high. also idk what to use as the pic for this so deal with whatever i put up and know that idk where it came from probably. 

im nowhere near done with this, but like i kinda liked this wip (i spent like an hour recording it lol) and was like "wow i need to post proof of the fact that my vocal chords still function and that im not just gonna upload prerecorded stuff all the time" (b/c i prerecorded quite a bit over last summer so.... yeah). i wanted the vocals a lil quieter in the intonations, if u kno what im trying to say b/c i am shit at explaining myself, but this song is hard so the intonations didn't rlly come out the way i wanted them to.

the mix is also shit. b/c im on my new laptop and not my old one. my mixing equipment. is on my old one only. and i literally. had. to. use. audacity. to. create. this. shit. mix. 

anyway let me kno if i sound too screechy or what and also if the beginning melody stuff i added in there (idk i thought it might b cool) sounds cool  or not. also im sorry about the shit pronunciation. 

side note: don't think that i didn't almost cry laughing every time i thought of having to sing the name 'pepe' unironically; so much so, actually, that upon relistening to the song, i think i even pronounced it wrong lol

Cover of the The's This is the Day.  This was me at nineteen, I recorded this little EP to give to family because I was a VERY broke college student and I wanted to give people stuff.  Years later, my good friend Camillia Ben Bassat had an internship at Maverick and she burned the original 4-track and Mono track tapes that I had and put them all together for me.  Thanks Cam!
