Fonk Recordings label boss Dannic is back on his own imprint with a brand new edit of Rayven & Valexx’s groovy weapon ‘Old School’.

The Italian duo consisting of Ruben & Valerio have been busy over the last year releasing melodic funk based bangers across respected labels such as Flamingo Records, Armada Music & Protocol Recordings, which has quickly established them firmly as artists to look out for in the future, thanks to support coming from the legendary David Guetta, Oliver Heldens, Don Diablo & more. 

The up & coming pair’s new funky jam follows on from head honcho Dannic’s philosophy of helping out the new guys & pushing them to the top of their game, and with this edit, its clear that the three of them have done something right as ‘Old School’s’ groovy atmosphere will have everyone moving when it is played out.

The new record fits the theme of Fonk Recordings with its Latin-esque groovy vibe throughout, which is reminiscent of the great classic house artists who are huge inspirations to Rayven & Valexx. ‘Old School’ is a clever clash of funky house and Big-room that utilises elements of both genres in moments such as the epic breakdown and the funky build up to the second drop.

Dannic, the highly prodigious DJ and producer from Breda in the Netherlands – the hometown of Tiësto and Hardwell - is one of the hottest acts to have emerged from the new generation of Dutch artists breaking through in recent years. His phenomenal rise to #26 in the 2015 DJ Mag Top 100 DJ Poll, a 4 place rise after a sensational jump of 34 places in the 2014 poll to #30, following his #74 debut back in 2013 confirms to tastemakers that he is set to remain a driving force within the scene. Surging his way to the forefront of the booming electronic scene and making his mark not only on Revealed Recordings throughout his career but also blazing a trail with the launch of his own imprint FONK Recordings, Dannic has managed to cast off previous associations and step forward as a respected artist in his own right, repeatedly blowing away fans with a slew of sensational releases, collaborations and of course, titanic DJ shows.

Daan Romers (in real life) won the Dancetour DJ contest in 2009 and a slot playing his productions to an audience of 10,000 people. Having started out as a DJ 10 years ago Dannic earned his stripes the old fashioned way, playing bars and small clubs, honing his craft. As Dannic says “It's funny because a lot of people know me as a producer but I like to see myself as a DJ who started producing”. It was only when he wanted to set himself apart from other DJs that he began experimenting with production and creating mash-ups to add something special 

Dannic has repeatedly demonstrated to colossal audiences, whilst on tour, his skills and tight technique as a DJ. His ability to read the crowd shone through proving he can mix it with the world’s best, as he delivered sets varying from peak time madness to low slung, sexy, funky grooves. With the pinnacle of the tour being a main stage set at Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, Dannic has undeniably joined the upper echelons of the dance music scene. This unrelenting schedule has been interspersed with dates across the globe and appearances at the summer’s hottest festivals including spell binding sets at Electric Zoo, Ultra Music Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival, Tomorrowland, Mysteryland, Dance Valley and TomorrowWorld.

As 2014 kicked off, Dannic returned to Revealed Recordings, where he released his first record just a few short years ago, to lay down his first release on the label since mid-2013, ‘Lion’, followed by heavy hitters including ‘Blueprint’ , his first vocal track ‘Dear Life’ and collab with Dyro ‘Radical’, cementing him as a firm fan favourite. Arun Kumar who is known among his fan as Kalinga was born and raised in the small streets of Tamil Nadu, India. Kalinga entered the music scene in 2010 as disc jockey. And he started to produce ELECTRONIC DANCE MUSIC on his own. He has already signed many EDM music labels for his singles & collaborations. such as BACK TO THE FLOW  Supported by Jaxx & Vega, DARRNAKKA and GET READY an collaboration with Mexican DJ/Producer & many more. He played along with big guns in the industry like DANNIC, STARX, REALITY TEST etc. and Also now he turned his vision into making EDM tracks in regional languages too. His first EDM track in Tamil called COIMBATORE PAKKAM has gained more support and attention from the EDM fans and AIR Played at BBC ASIA  and his second track GETHU KAATU has got support from Tamil Music industry such as Hip Hop Thamizha, DR. Burn etc.. Kalinga, a born fighter has locked himself up in his studio and works everyday to make his skills better. What the Electronic Dance Music enthusiasts can do is to wait for a few days as Kalinga is coming up with his breathtaking Music's and new styles and that is going to blow their mind.

Born and raised on the southwest coast of Sweden, Jonas Rasku, pka Kristianex, has slowly but surely started to make a name for himself in the EDM scene after a bachelor's degree and 13+ years of producing music.

With countless productions supported by names such as David Guetta, Armin Van Buuren, Hardwell, Martin Garrix, Nicky Romero, Afrojack, Timmy Trumpet, W&W, Mike Williams, NERVO, Sick Individuals and more, the young Sweden-born Finnish producer is proving to be a future musical force to be reckoned with.

Not only has his music been enjoyed on radio stations and streaming platforms worldwide reaching 10 million + streams, but it’s also been enjoyed on mainstages of festivals like Tomorrowland: Around The World. His massive 2023 collaboration, “Sweat”, with Amero & GYMBRO has amassed a total of 5 million + streams on Spotify alone.

His blend of groovy rhythms, hard-hitting mixes and addictive melodies have placed him in multiple 1st place positions in both DJ:ing and remix competitions. He won the opportunity to play a special 15 minute DJ set at Dannic's Fonk Recordings Amsterdam Dance Event party in October of 2018. Next to that accomplishment, he managed to land himself official remixes for NERVO and Sick Individuals respectively. 

As of January 2025, he has two official releases together with Dannic (“Your Love” & “Everything") on  Protocol Recordings, owned by Nicky Romero.
