BIO:
Psylo Soundz is an audio engineer and DJ from the north side of Chicago. Being born into a musically inclined family, Psylo was exposed to music long before they came out the womb. As the daughter of a renowned Chicago DJ, Psylo has taken advantage of the musical knowledge that seems innately a part of their being. From raw and authentic Chicago house music, to the grunginess of groups like The Clash and The Flying Lizards, Psylo's knowledge of music is apparent in their ever-changing selection. Though they're fairly new to the technicalities of mixing, mastering, and DJing, Psylo is no stranger to the delicate, tedious, but rewarding process of creating music. "My favorite part about the music-making process is cleaning the sound up. Creating that goosebump-inducing feeling. I love to be the reason why you love how a song sounds." Now an intern & current DJ student, Psylo continues to develop their skills in all facets.

MIX DESCRIPTION:
This mix is what I consider to be me in my most relaxed state. I went into this mix with no intentions nor expectations other than to make you groove! It's very much true to my open format style and with songs from Bad Bunny, Lana Del Rey, Talking Heads, Patrice Rushen, & Kanye West (just to name a few), I can guarantee you that this mix has something for EVERYONE! A lot of these songs have a really good memory attached to them, and as a Cancer, I live for a little bit of nostalgia! Nearly every genre got shown some love, which is usually what I try to implement into all of my sets when I DJ in public. This is easily one of my favorite mixes that I've done to date (I lose my mind at the 01:49, 09:02, 13:27, 22:34, & 27:41 marks lol). I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do
