Everyone knows how it can be when meeting the family for the first time. It doesn't always go without issue. Especially when you're rushing into moving in with each other, and perhaps weren't thinking of their perspective as much as you could have been. While some attitudes towards us may not have been called for, nothing can't be forgiven. 

This song start's from Caleb's perspective of being blinded by excitement he didn't think of how poor the reception might be. I chime in and remind him that his family loves him, and that all it takes is just a little forgiveness to see us living happily ever after; something he wouldn't be able to do without his family.

Frank was just two years old when his mother died during the Spanish flu outbreak. He never knew her as “Mum” — only as the quiet figure glimpsed through the crack in the bedroom door, too sick to hold him.

She was buried in Portsmouth, not in a churchyard, but in the loose ground of the streets alongside many others, marked only by wooden crosses.

This piece is about that day — her funeral. Through Frank’s eyes: strangers weeping at makeshift graves, fires lit for purification, rows of coffins waiting for the earth. A city walking over its dead. A boy, too young to grieve, standing in the presence of loss without yet knowing what it meant.

This piece is inspired by the true story of my grandfather’s event noted in his journal. This is incredibly personal to me as each life hold a story that should be heard.

We will read this book through the lens of seeing it within its cultural context and its continuing meaning for us today. I chant, channel and record as I go, I never "create" a track, this means there will be subtle tones and noises that I only discover at the end which seem to shift and change each time I listen. I use only minimal editing mostly to adjust the volumes as things can get loud in the moment. Our travels across the country inspired compositions like "Road to Wareham." Music became my sanctuary, especially after being diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome. In college, under mentors such as Dr. Rick Birley, Dr. Richard Hall, and Dr. Julie Trevett, I honed my skills in composition, theory, and piano, transitioning to formal music notation using Sibelius.

Today, I compose for film, video games, and theatre. My music, influenced by my diverse experiences, aims to evoke emotion and tell stories.

At the age of 15, Jörg Söls, better known as Dj Koolbreak started doing his thing as a dj. In 2004 he became a member of G-Spot Sound, one of austrias biggest reggae and dancehall soundsystems.
