# Eclipsed Spirit

In the shadow-dance of existence, I wait,
A fleeting silhouette against eternity's gate.
My light, not absent but hidden from view,
Like wisdom concealed in darkness, still true.

The sun of my purpose temporarily veiled,
By circumstances through which I have sailed.
Yet in this darkness, a strange beauty grows,
As stars only visible when daylight goes.

I am not diminished by this passing shade,
But transformed in the contrast it has made.
For what is an eclipse but a brief alignment,
A cosmic reminder of light's confinement?

This shadow will pass as all shadows must,
Returning me to brilliance from cosmic dust.
My spirit endures beyond this darkened hour,
Emerging renewed with unexpected power.

In eclipse I learn what light alone can't teach:
That darkness holds treasures within its reach.
So I embrace this temporary night,
Knowing it deepens my returning light.

Franz Ignaz Beck: 10ième Pièce de Sonates Op. V

Anders Muskens is a Canadian early keyboard specialist, music scholar, and ensemble director, active as an international artist in North America and Europe. He began piano studies at the age of 4 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and completed an Associate Diploma (ARCT) in modern piano from the Royal Conservatory of Music, Toronto under the tutelage of Dr. Irina Konovalov. With support from the Edmonton Community Foundation and the Adriana Jacoba Fonds, he completed a Masters in Fortepiano at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague under Dr. Bart van Oort and Petra Somlai, with Fabio Bonizzoni and Patrick Ayrton for harpsichord. He is currently a doctoral candidate in musicology at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Matthew Gardner, Prof. Dr. Thomas Schipperges, and Dr. Jed Wentz, where he is researching the connection between rhetorical acting and music in the period 1740–1830.  He has performed regularly at the Utrecht Early Music Festival, and has given performances at the Schwetzinger SWR Festspiele, Het Concertgebouw Amsterdam, the National Music Centre, the London International Festival of Early Music, the Salle Bourgie in Montreal, and many more. Muskens is the founder of the ensemble Das Neue Mannheimer Orchester: an international initiative to revive the music of the Mannheim School in the second half of the eighteenth century. He is represented artistically by the SONUS Agency for Early Music.

Bio of the author of the music — Roman Grebennik

Roman Grebennik is a talented musician and composer. He began his musical career in St. Petersburg, where he recorded his debut album "Tiger in a Cage". He is inspired by such outstanding figures as Sergey Kuryokhin, The Doors, Eduard Artemyev and Hans Zimmer, which is reflected in his unique approach to creating music.
These reference points have shaped his approach to creating soundscapes that combine elements of cinematic music and avant-garde forms.

Roman currently lives in Israel and continues to develop his musical style, experimenting with various genres and sound textures.

The main feature of his work is the ability to work with different genres and styles, without being tied to one musical direction. Roman constantly experiments, creating music that goes beyond traditional forms. His compositions can vary from minimalistic sound canvases to complex, multi-layered tracks with elements of ambient, electronics and symphonic arrangements.
His music is deeply atmospheric and easily applied in cinema and advertising, as it is able to subtly convey mood and enhance visual images. Roman carefully constructs his compositions, paying attention to details - from sound textures to the final mix. This makes his music universal: it can serve as both a soundtrack for films and the basis for modern advertising campaigns.

Introducing ELENKRIG: A Fusion of Classical Mastery and Electronic Dance Music
Born into a lineage steeped in musical tradition, ELENKRIG had no other path but to embrace The Art. His journey with music began at the tender age of four, mastering musical notation before learning the letters in the alphabet. He is a Conservatory Graduate, where he majored a Classical Piano. However, alongside his classical training, he developed a strong passion for synthesizers and electronic music. Since 2008, he has been releasing various electronic dance music tracks, spanning a multitude of genres.
A DJ since 2018, ELENKRIG has performed at numerous venues and festivals both in Cyprus and Globally. Presenting ELENKRIG – where the affection for electronic dance music blends seamlessly with classical music training!
