Part 2" Sponsored by POR (Power of Reggae) in collaboration with Family Promotion Sound Exclusively on Nice Up Radio. This show aired live on Monday October 28th, 2024. This was a 2 hour long Orthodox Showcase Style episode in celebration of the 57th anniversary of the founding of the Twelve Tribes of Israel in Jamaica February 1968. Hour 1 featured some wonderful roots music starting with Studio One selections then going through some of the great roots artists and labels across Jamaica. Hour 2: Orthodox Hour we played the Twelve Tribes of Israel Vol 1 Showcase LP in its entirety while talking about the record and it's great artists and history. We read Psalms 87 and a speech by Haile Selassie that was turned into great lyrics by a couple Twelve Tribes artists.
