Inspired by Four Tet and other artists who walk the impossible tightrope of beautiful and beat-driven dance music. I’ve always loved ethereal electronic music but the first time I heard artists who could blend  sound with steady danceable house beats was a revelation for me and still brings me so much joy today. It’s some of the most synesthetic music and it makes me feel shimmery rainbows and I love messing around with all the textures these songs evoke.

This is the second mix in this series of freestyle mixes each with their own narrow focus. All in the spirit of trying to be less of a perfectionist and more present with music.
