The song is a quiet, heartfelt duet between two women who share a deep bond of care and resilience.
It begins with one woman waiting in silent pain, staring at her phone for a call that never comes, months after loved ones were taken away. Her companion offers to be her anchor, holding her close through the tears.

The chorus is a mutual pledge of support: “We’ll hold the hope in turns. When your world falls, I’ll carry it on my shoulders. When my ground sinks, you won’t let me drown. Sometimes you’re the strong one, sometimes it’s me—together we survive.”

In the second verse, the focus shifts to the quiet struggles of daily life—overwhelming worries and inner pride that hides tears. Again, the bond between them brings strength and comfort.

The bridge deepens the message of endurance: “If tomorrow turns dark, I’ll light a small path for you. When I sink into sorrow, your comfort will lift me. Together we’re stronger than loneliness—two wounded halves healing into one whole heart.”

Being musician and artist "since ages", the last two decades and all the developments in digital music broadened my interests and activities in doing music actively and passively. Not being shy of any genre (OK, leave off some Punk and Extreme Metal derivates) I engage in composing, arranging, mixing and collaborating. 

Oh, and I do all my artwork and designs as well. And as you may notice I regard AI as a friendly helper.

Music takes me to new worlds. Life is the best teacher. Writing about life is a challenge and experience is what guides me. Loves, pains, disappointments, sadness, joy, despair, hope, melancholy, happiness, all these feelings burn in my veins and make me create.

Barbonus is a German lyricist who treats songwriting as a form of literature. His tracks begin with words – fragments of prose, quiet observations, poetic disruptions – and build outward into minimalist soundscapes.

Instead of writing hits, Barbonus writes moments. His lyrics don’t chase hooks; they linger, reveal, suggest. Framed by gentle synths and indie-flavored textures, his work explores memory, digital disconnection, and the beauty of unfinished thoughts.

Beyond his solo work, Barbonus moves between several constellations:
• with Vela Sorell he forms the duo BC25, exploring fragile songs of memory and breath.
• with Klarstein.rocks he releases playful Country-inspired tracks and writes German lyrics in the ironic spirit of the NDW.
• in his archive work, he reconstructs cassette recordings from the 1990s, recovering fragments from a rehearsal basement.

With growing attention from international blogs describing his sound as “electronica with heart” and “a softer, more introspective space,” Barbonus positions himself less as a performer and more as a narrator. A voice at the edge of the frame, crafting scenes in words before sound enters the room.

For him, music is not the message – it’s the carrier wave.

Blind Mime Music (ASCAP) is a Soundcloud for recordings of songs and music written by Briyan Frederick Baker (GAJOOB and Tapegerm Collective) and collaborators. Eventually songs will make their way onto Bandcamp albums and stream on all the usual outlets. Briyan has been making songs since junior and high school and these recordings contain 50+ years of material old and new. The music ranges from glitch pop to experimental.
