We Goi'n Far

This is my debut album as an electronic musician titled "The Cave," which emerged after my relocation to Kazakhstan. I felt the power within my music and realized that I couldn't keep it to myself anymore. It might not be immediately apparent, but the album is filled with various emotions and reflections about the experience of moving, the lack of understanding of where you are and what you'll be doing. It embodies a sense of boundless freedom, yet at the same time, I convey to my listeners that I'm still in the dark, as if I can't emerge into the light from my own cave because of fear, fear of spreading my wings and following my own path. However, the way out is right in front of you; all that's left is to take a step into the unknown. Recently, I took that step by deciding to share my music with you. Yes, it's instrumental music, and yes, it may not be perfect, but every sample you hear was an attempt to express myself. It doesn't have the elements to grab your attention, nor does it carry a sense of cheerfulness. Instead, it possesses something profound that I myself cannot articulate. I present this music to your judgment. If it inspires someone, I would be immensely happy. And please don't hesitate to reach out to me; I'm open to communication. Because I'm stepping out of my cave. But I will always preserve it in my memory, leaving it as a musical album. Forever.

Imagine an artist whose every song is unique, yet at the same time you feel that it is part of a bigger picture. Sepia writes songs that stand strong on their own, but are merely a foundation of the whole. A rollercoaster with twists and turns in emotion, style and intensity. Nick, the composer of Sepia, uses audible calligraphy to write a diary in the form of soundwaves emanating from a wide range of instrumentation and vocals.

Sepia's progressive sound is new; yet recognizable, raw; yet sweet, energetic; yet timid, simplistic; yet refined. Sepia appeals to the imagination, making every song feel like a new story every time. Although the main sound has a rock-like touch, Sepia mixes genres together. Pop-rock, classical and dance in one song; why not? One song is heavy doom and gloom with powerful guitars; the other song is guitar-free, light and jazzy; No problem. With Sepia all is possible without it becoming too much of a mess. Why? Because music styles are not approached as opposites of each other, but as complements to one another.

When Nick had the opportunity to bring a self-written song to life with his former band while performing in pubs, concert halls and theaters, he knew for sure: “I have to release self-composed.” The satisfaction that the audience gave him with their enthusiasm was priceless. Nick immediately went into the studio, the same studio where he and his former band produced an EP, and started to record some songs. An idea arose to write a full-length release; supported by two singles. Those are out now; Sepia is born!
