Freshmoon Records returns in a big way with Nikes “re-send” EP - a journey into footwork, jungle, juke and a lot more. 

"re-send" (with label alumni Chango) builds up with a trippy, time-stretched chant, diving into a punk meets rap, footwork and grime frenzy. 
Label head MoonDoctoR joins Nikes on "Splash", with the duo making a wild drum-and-bass style roller with one seriously weighty bassline. 

"Flute Jam" with Chango and MoonDoctoR shows off the classic Freshmoon Records style. Jungle, jazz, and juke elements shine brightly here, with a hypnotic flute floating across the track. 

The EP rounds out with remixes from two global friends of the label -- Canada's Hesk and India's Yung Raj. Hesk delivers a lush-but-deadly footwork version of "Splash", while Yung Raj comes with an insane turbo flip of "re-send" that is a perfect tool for the rave. 

"re-send" marks the start of new sounds from Nikes as well as the rest of the Freshmoon Records camp soon... stay tuned.

Made this track back in 2008 on my old Mac Pro using Logic Pro, Battery v1, Izotope Phatmatik Sampler and Mastered on Ozone 3.

This was a personal favorite of my late brother, Jacob Israel Mundaca aka J. Mundaca, which is why I chose to release it in his honor.
