The Wake UP -Full Moon Mix by ThirdEyeEssence

This mix was recorded live at The Lab on Saturday, April 12th and took place from 12:30am - 2:00 am MST during the Full Moon Gathering. Funny enough, my first show ever was April 11th 2019 so this mix marks 6 years of playing shows. I didn't even realize this until a good buddy of mine had sent me a memory a couple of days later and we reflected on that show, so this mix is quite special to me and I'm very happy with the mix. Every show I play is different so no to shows will never be the same track list or mix. I think its important for a DJ to mix fresh as every show and experience is unique and holds a different space. During my set I played some new stuff and also few older tracks that I have been feeling that had re-emerged in my atmosphere over the last few weeks. I was also compelled during the mix to put a few of my tracks in there as well; I don't always do this but it felt right so I went with the vibe. The Mission
ThirdEyeEssence, also known as essence (or eklips), is here to help starseeds, indigo children, and lightworkers reconnect with divine source energy—raising frequencies and guiding souls toward union with their higher selves.

Roots & Journey
Raised in the Bay Area, essence learned to DJ on vinyl from Hard House legend Thomas Trouble at the iconic Trance & Jungle Factory in Berkeley. He began DJing and MCing in the late ’90s at raves, clubs, and house parties across San Francisco, Oakland, the Bay Area, Central Valley, and beyond—including Nevada and Arizona.

Over the years, essence has produced beats for himself and other artists while keeping the underground spirit alive. He previously owned multiple record and clothing shops in Idaho and Las Vegas, taught spiritual classes, and authored The Healing Garden under the ThirdEyeEssence name. His creativity also extends into visual art, tattooing, fashion, and handmade jewelry, available through his current Etsy store.

As a long time lover of dance music culture, influenced by a wide range of music throughout his youth and inspired by the DJs and happenings of the early 90s California rave scene, Chadwick began his journey as a DJ in 1993.

Over the years of playing events large and small including Moontribe, Terrakroma, Psytribe, Electric Daisy Carnival, Serenity Gathering, and Photosynthesis, he has developed a diverse musical palette ranging in various styles of techno, progressive, trance, psytrance, psytech, breakbeats, house and electronica. While having a deep love for underground club and warehouse dancefloors, Chadwick feels most at home playing outdoors under the open sky. Day or night, indoors or out, his sets will take you to a place of heart thumping, foot stomping, psychedelic bliss.

Chadwick is a resident DJ and organizing volunteer with Southern California’s Moontribe Collective, who have been gathering under the full moon in the Mojave Desert since 1993.

Since 2020 I'm again actively playing music as a Dj, mainly for Ecstatic Dance. Already in my early youth I had my first attempts behind the turntables. Between 2008-2015 I recorded and released various mixsets under the synonym 'beatcook / beatCuisine'.

Playing the handpan has been enriching my musical repertoire for more than three years and over time binaural beats, nature sounds and mantras have become part of my music.

I especially love Downtempo, Progressive Techno, Ecstatic / Trance Dance and Ambient Sound Journeys. Feel, sense and experience my music and 'Cacao Sound' up close. I love to create a beautiful and breathtaking atmosphere for my performances.
