Swan Pond Soliloquy (Full Orchestra Gr. 3) - Dan Adams

This is for me a Proof of Concept. I have started to map synthesizers from Logic Pro X Out of the Box as possible orchestral alternatives. This is a short piece orchestrated using some standard orchestral techniques but with synth alternatives instead. The source material is from a short survey I conducted on social media a while back asking for random note names. My Etudes that i have been posting are all derived from this source material transformed in different ways.

The spirit of the American pioneer is exemplified by the great Westward expansion of the 19th century. Crossing the treacherous high plains in pursuit of a new life in the West was an arduous and perilous journey. Across The High Plains captures the spirit of these intrepid settlers with its vibrant rhythms and soaring melodies.

Bursting with joyful energy and optimism, "Seize the Sunlight" captures the heart of taking chances and embracing opportunities. A bright and uplifting theme unfolds, symbolising the dawn of a new day and the promise of a fresh start. Warmth and vitality prevail throughout, inviting listeners to seize every moment of every day, because as long as the sun is still shining, there are still countless moments of potential within reach. Ultimately the piece concludes with triumph and fulfilment, leaving a sense of hope, inspiration, and infinite possibilities.

Phoenicia Symphonic Suite - Canaanite Harvest Festival - Second Movement

With the third movement, we find ourselves amid the towering groves that held spiritual and practical significance for the Phoenicians. The music envelops us in the reverence they held for
the majestic cedar trees, which graced cities like Byblos. The orchestra's intricate harmonies and evocative tones capture the symbiotic relationship between humans and nature, reflecting the craftsmanship and seafaring legacy that bloomed in the shadow of these ancient giants.

Olja Arthur is a Czech electronic music creator based in Southern Moravia.
His musical journey began in the late 80s, when he worked as a DJ under the name Arthur, performing at village parties, dance halls, bars and night venues. Those early years shaped his love for melody, rhythm, and the shared joy of music.

Throughout his life, he worked in many fields — from aircraft maintenance and military service, to production control, web development and video creation. Yet music always stayed close, waiting for the right moment to return.

In recent years, he found a new creative spark through collaboration with AI — allowing him to transform memories, emotions, humor, imagination and personal stories into sound. His music ranges from energetic EDM, trance and electro-dance, to romantic ballads, slow intimate moods, cinematic soundscapes and reflective emotional tracks.

More than 350 songs released in under a year — created intuitively, from the heart, without calculation.
Music here is freedom, joy, memory and escape — a quiet celebration of being alive.

Dani Maree Ashmore is a Melbourne-based composer and musician. Her love for music was nurtured during her school years, where she formally learned violin and cello. However, over the years she self-taught and performed with many different instruments including piano, guitar, electric bass, and percussion. Currently she enjoys both writing for and being actively involved as a percussionist with local orchestras and concert bands.

Her composition journey began as a singer-songwriter, performing her own music and writing songs for local musical theatre. After completing a Bachelor of Applied Music (Composition) at Box Hill Institute in 2014, she began specialising in writing orchestral music and film scores. Throughout her career, Dani has composed both original works and arrangements for various ensembles including wind bands and orchestras. Additionally, her music has been featured in short films, advertisements and music videos; many of which were competition finalists. Ultimately, Dani aims to write music that is both fun to play and enjoyable to listen to.
