We began with sacred cacao: a warm river of earth-medicine rising through our veins, whispering truth to our bones.

This week's powerful Supermoon was in the sign of Taurus.

Taurus is an earth sign, characterized by a strong need for security. Taurus enjoys security, peace, focus, and predictability. A Taurus wants to have their affairs in order and is usually good at it. The ruling planet of this zodiac sign is Venus; during this Full Moon, the spotlight will therefore be on matters related to this planet, such as love, money, and pleasure. Use the energy of this full moon to think carefully about your finances and relationships. 

At the same time, the energy of Scorpio, the sign in which the sun is located, comes into play. Unlike Taurus, Scorpio is not afraid to make changes. Curopiro is inspired by the Curupira, a Brazilian mythological creature present in Tupi-Guarani myths, the native indigenous people from the Amazon forest.

According to the cultural legends, this creature has bright red/orange hair which is actually a fire and resembles a man or a dwarf, but its feet are turned backwards. 

He protects the forest from those that are abusing it He uses his backward feet to create footprints that lead to its starting point, thus making hunters and travelers confused.

Which is a similar concept of the music that the DJ Curopiro plays, surprising the audience mixing different genres and influences bringing surprise in his sets. World sounds from downtempo to house

“An unseen balance between light and darkness”

Scattering for many years between different underground music genres, this frequency collided with the techno soundscape in 2016, creating an outburst of energy.

Equipped with a rumbling, driving, and unseen dedication to his passion, his journey began...

After he took the Belgian MUSICASA producer’s education, as a first step to pursuing his dream, he quickly released EP's and remixes on melodic techno labels such as SMR Underground, Melodia Records, Tanzgemeinschaft, and Papaya music.

After releasing and performing on various stages, and through the process of producing and self-awareness, he felt the melodic techno genre wasn’t the perfect reflection of what inspired and drove him.

In 2022 he had a change of heart as he started focusing more on
underground hypnotic, atmospheric and ambient techno, reaching for that inner spirit and dynamic balance. This resulted in releases on some of the biggest labels in the hypnotic scene like DORIAN, The Gods Planet, BAHN, Khoros, Informa, Space Textures, Arcadia,... with many more on the way.

Host of the podcast ‘Adjust (BE) Invites’ (2020-2023), he invited numerous DJ’s and Producers to make a signature guest mix, where the DJ/producer is the key element.

For over 130 episodes spreading over 3 years and reaching new listeners each month, the fanbase and mutual respect between colleagues kept growing daily.

In 2023 he started a new and hypnotic/deep-techno-exclusive podcast called ‘Andhera’, which translates to ‘darkness’ in Sanskrit. With every Full Moon or Solar Eclipse, a talented and highly respected DJ/producer creates a unique story.

An artist, hand-picked by himself, whom he highly admires, respects and who empowers and understands techno’s dark, ambient and emotional side.⁠

His style of playing and producing can be described as a perfectly, yet delicate, carved out balance between light and darkness, melancholic and emotionally charged. Cinematic sounds, rich and full of atmospheres, super evocative soundscapes with an inexplicable soul that can only be grasped when fully immersed into it.
