-	What will it take to stop you?
-	Who you depend on to keep going is determined if you’ll keep going or not.
-	Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
-	John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

-	You might be the best soul winner in the church or a great singer or piano player, but if you’re disobedient to your parents, you are a loser and not right with Jesus!
-	A child obeys God by obeying Mom and Dad.
-	A student obeys God by obeying their teacher
-	A church member obeys God by obeying their pastor
-	A citizen obeys God by obeying the police
-	A laborer obeys God by obeying his foreman
-	Of course, all this is dependent upon it being within the principle of “in the Lord,” or our leaders following Jesus.
-	All of us must arrive at the place in our lives where we say it’s not what we want but what he wants, and it’s nowhere we want to be, but where he wants us to be!

Scripture: Psalm 55:1-8
Psalm 55:1 Give ear to my prayer, O God; and hide not thyself from my supplication.
Psalm 55:2 Attend unto me, and hear me: I mourn in my complaint, and make a noise;
Psalm 55:3 Because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked: for they cast iniquity upon me, and in wrath they hate me.
Psalm 55:4 My heart is sore pained within me: and the terrors of death are fallen upon me.
Psalm 55:5 Fearfulness and trembling are come upon me, and horror hath overwhelmed me.
Psalm 55:6 And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest.

-	Anticipating the battle, the court case, surgery, the big meeting, the interview, and so on.

-	Has anybody here ever felt like David has felt? Something is coming, and you are in anticipation of it coming. Cancer screening, root canal, divorce papers, rebellious kids, layoff notice, and you see the battle on the horizon.
-	Matthew 26:39 And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
-	And you’re wondering, like David and others, I wish I could fly away and escape that which I know is coming.
01.	Getting through the battle is often not as hard as getting to the battle.
02.	All of us would rather be somewhere else when we see the battle coming.
-	Sometimes I would rather actually go through something rather than anticipate something for a long period of time!
03.	You don’t fight the battle alone, but you have to choose to fight the battle alone.
-	The minute you decide to go on, God decides to go with you!
-	Exodus 14:14 The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
-	Deuteronomy 20:4 For the LORD your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.
-	If you ever want to have some private fellowship with Jesus, then get into a fiery furnace; he always shows up in a fiery furnace! -Lester Roloff
-	The battle will keep you so busy that you haven’t got time to worry or to fear. And let us always remember that a battle fought alongside God will always bring us closer to God!
-	2 Corinthians 4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

Title: YOUR CHOICE!

Scripture: Genesis 3:1-4
Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
Genesis 3:2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
Genesis 3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
Genesis 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

Sermon Points:
-	In verse one, the Bible says, “The serpent said,” and in verse three it states, “God hath said.”
-	God does not create an appetite unless he gives us the fulfillment of that appetite.
-	God gave them a desire to love and provided the love of a mate and his love, which is the ultimate.
-	Then suddenly another appears he was attractive, but had nothing for man, but talk and lies.
01.	Adam and Eve now find themselves having to decide who they will listen to and follow.
-	Girls, don’t listen to Satan. Your body is sacred and only to be touched by your husband.
-	I Thessalonians 4:3 For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:
-	I Thessalonians 4:4 That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;
-	You young girls have a choice to believe some boy who has done nothing for you or your Saviour who has done everything for you.
02.	It’s been 6000 years since that day and not much has changed.
-	Genesis 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
-	Choices have results. The labor that was to result in pure satisfaction is now shrouded in disappointment and harsh labor.
-	Genesis 3:17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
-	Genesis 3:18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
-	Genesis 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
-	Not all consequences are immediate.
-	Psalms 73:17 Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.
-	Psalms 73:18 Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction.
-	That baby will be loved by you and its grandparents, but it will also be a reminder of the sin of ignoring God and listening to Satan.
03.	Mothers
-	It doesn’t make sense for young people to follow a bunch of their friends who have done nothing for them while turning their back on a mother who has done everything for them.
04.	Fathers
05.	Your Church
-	Then you grow up free to choose, and you choose somebody not even in church and leave the church and the teachers and the preachers who have giving you their life.
-	You, who do such things are no different than Adam and Eve, who received all that God had done, and followed someone who had never done one solitary thing for them.
06.	Jesus
-	Satan has done nothing for you except use other peers and friends to lure you away from the one who did everything for you.

Title: FILTHY RAGS RIGHTEOUSNESS VS. JESUS RIGHTEOUSNESS!

Scripture: Romans 5:10; Isaiah 64:6

Sermon Points:
01.	When you and I, the redeemed, stand before God, we must stand perfectly righteous.
-	Proverbs 12:7 The wicked are overthrown, and are not: but the house of the righteous shall stand.
-	No one will go to heaven who has one blemish on their record. Sin cannot enter into heaven.
-	The Bible says, “The wages of sin is death.” The very first sin, we committed condemned us to a devil’s hell.
-	Revelation 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
-	Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
-	It is not simply the removal of sin from your record that will save you. It must be the combination of the removal of sin and the application of the Righteousness of Christ.
-	My righteousness is not God’s Righteousness.
-	Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
-	The scripture did not say your sins are filthy in the site of God; it says, “Your goodness is as filthy rags in the sight of God.”
02.	There is only one righteousness left, and it is perfect.
-	Romans 10:1 -3
-	Who are these people going about to establish their own righteousness, but have not submitted and into God’s Righteousness? These are people, trusting in baptism, confirmation, holy Eucharist, good deeds, church, membership, communion, rosary, last rites, these are who have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.
03.	Filthy-Rags righteousness
-	What is filthy rags righteousness? It is anything other than the righteousness of Jesus Christ.
-	The life of Jesus, being righteous, perfect, must be on your record. In a sense, you are saved by His life, which was righteousness. If you only stand before God with a blank record, you still cannot go to heaven.
04.	Jesus came to die for me and pay the penalty for my unrighteousness.
05.	Jesus not only came to die for the redeemed, but he came to live for the redeemed.
-	If Jesus had not lived for 33 years in the flesh, there would be no righteousness to place on our record
-	Jesus died to pay for our unrighteousness, and He lived to give us righteousness that was not tainted.

Sermon Points:
-	We are what we are mainly because we have chosen to be what we are.
-	Luke 14:12 Then said he also to him that bade him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor thy rich neighbours; lest they also bid thee again, and a recompence be made thee.
-	Luke 14:13 But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind:
-	Luke 14:14 And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.
-	It seems that our psychologist and psychiatrist have led us to believe that each of us who does anything wrong is a result of what someone else did.
01.	The World wants us to believe that we are victims of circumstances!
-	It all started in the garden. Satan got Adam and Eve to believe they were victims of God deceiving them.
-	Genesis 3:2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
-	Genesis 3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

-	Genesis 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
-	Genesis 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
-	It is time to realize we caused our own problems and are not caused by someone else. It is time to understand and except personal responsibility for our actions from birth to death.
-	Romans 14:12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
-	Laziness and lack of character cannot be blamed on anyone but the figure that stares back at you in the mirror.
-	“My parents, divorced and that is what’s wrong with me,” No! You do wrong because you choose to do wrong!
-	Isaiah 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
02.	You and I hold in our hand our own destiny.
-	You have the Holy Spirit living inside of you to help you. If you choose not to accept his help, that is your fault, not his! He has invited you to him to get help we shall all give account to God for ourselves.
-	Romans 14:12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
-	Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
-	The fruit of the spirit is love, the love is provided. If we choose to hate instead of love, then we are accountable.
-	Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
03.	Until you face it, you cannot change it.
-	Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
-	Proverbs 16:9 A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.
