Die Herrschaften von Funkwerstatt haben Zuversicht. In eine Zukunft voller draufgängerischer Lebensfreude, eine Zukunft die von vorne bis hinten tanzbar ist. Genau diese Zuversicht schmettern sie uns mit rollendem Rumms, schweißtreibener Rhythmik und strahlenden Synthesizer-Fanfaren entgegen. Gespickt mit einem romantischen Vers ist Zuversicht der Stoff, aus dem Stimmungshöhepunkte auf der Tanze gemacht sind. Wenn es   genau so euphorisch, aber etwas tiefer und verschlungener sein darf liegt abspielbereit auf der B-Seite ein entsprechender Remix von Mollono.Bass - gefolgt von einer Instrumental-Version ohne jeglichen Spracheinsatz, dafür mit netter, kleiner Acid-Schraube. Damit nicht genug des basslastigen Frohsinns: Funkwerkstatt zünden zur Feier des Tages noch eine Rakete, die kurz nach dem Start in einem knisternden Feuerwerk der Beats und schwerelosen Melodiefetzen auf die Hörerschaft herabregnet. 


The gentlemen of Funkwerkstatt are full of Zuversicht, full of confidence. Confidence in a future that is bursting with go-getting joy of life, a future that is highly danceable from start to finish. It is this very confidence that finds expression in the title Zuversicht, in its driving rhythms, in its bouncy bass line, in its bright synthesizer fanfares. Spiced up with some lines from a romantic German poem this track is the stuff which escalating dance floors are made of. For those who prefer a version that is just as euphoric, but a little deeper and subliminal there's a Mollono.Bass remix on the flip side, followed by an instrumental version without any vocals but with a nice pinch of Acid. Still that's not enough blissful party sound: The Funkwerstatt guys launch a Rakete, a rocket, that explodes into technicolored fireworks and rains down on the listeners in a storm of crispy beats and weightless melodies.

Superfancy is back. For the start of the year 2016 is an absolut classic tune from Funkwerkstatt with fresh remixes via Superfancy Recordings on his way to your trustworthy record dealer. "Melodie fr Millionen", originally released on the label 3000 Records, will now be released with the original track plus two remixes on Funkwerkstatt's label. To start with Anthik, wich has already released on Suara and Go deeva Records, in collaboration with Felipe Puertes. The two swiss guys transform the track into an absolut modern clubmonster. A catchy bassline, up beat arpeggiator sounds paired with timeless vocals turn this remix into a weapon for ever dancefloor.The second remix comes from the two berlin locals Dole & Kom, members of the 3000 community. Their upperdisco Dub is a little bit more relaxed and changes the track into a timless warm deephouse-chordmonster. The track will blow up every afterhour dancefloor in the early morning. It's a good start into the new year for the label with eyes. We are fancy and we know it!

As a teaser for the new record of labelhead Funkwerkstatt, which will be released by the beginning of 2018, Superfancy Recordings presents a new interpretation of their classic hit “Melodien für Millionen”. The remix has been produced by Superfancy wonder boy Stephan Zovsky. In his rough cut mix he combines the original catchy vocals with a pumping techno groove and a hypnotic moog bassline. Many new acts are quickly discovered and disappear soon afterwards, like streaking satellites or pulsing comets. Still others are like space junk, spinning aimlessly through the nether. There are a few, however, that shine brighter than the others and despite their perennial prese...nce, continue to burn brightly. Following a supernova in the year 1999, the constellation Funkwerkstatt appeared on the firmament of the Party Galaxy. The project, called into life by Derrick Porter and Nicola John on their own label, Superfancy, is well known for its individual, fresh and novel style of electro, minimal and tech-house sounds. Numerous releases and remix projects, for fans of italo disco and kraftwerk sounds, are evidence of the artistically demanding accomplishments. Singer Dan Morro has woven his vocals into the instrumental tapestry of Derrick and Nicola since 2004, expanding the spectrum of the group's sound. Through their energetic liveacts, the trio keeps winning the enthusiasm and sweat of their audiences. After countless gigs both in the party scene of their home region and beyond, they are setting off, like a celestial storm, to course through the national and international club universe....
