Six various and sundry tracks derived from a recording session on April 10th 2025, in which the Steinway grand was masterfully played by David Nelson, and the Yamaha silent classical guitar was ‘shtickled’ by Joel the Mole. The results were later edited with Audacity (and in sumptuous solitude). The selections are as follows;

New York's retro-futuristic maestro Ursula 1000 drops the explosive aperitif to his ninth album Decadanse with "Shaken Or Stirred," a dance floor destroyer that answers Bond's classic cocktail query with pure dancefloor delight.

The track launches with a growly bass line that hits harder than premium vodka, building into a casino lounge breakdown that would make Monte Carlo jealous. Ursula 1000 transforms the iconic spy phrase into a weaponized disco anthem, complete with manic cowbell action and echoed handclaps that ricochet through the mix like bullets in a funhouse mirror.

"Shake that thing / shake it," purrs a sultry female vocal over the chaos, while wobbling bass pressure weaves through the producer's signature time machine aesthetic. The result? More propulsion than Moonraker and twice the danger, landing squarely in the fiery disco zone. The single arrives as a three-course serving: Single Edit for radio rotation, Extended Mix for peak-time destruction, and Instrumental Version for DJs who prefer their cocktails without the chaser.

"Shaken Or Stirred" officially launches cocktail hour on the dance floor – and the answer to Bond's question has never been clearer.

I am, on the maternal side, Haplogroup T
(Subclade T2) and, on the paternal side,
Haplogroup Q (M242)!
I have been walking the earth since the
early '50s. I am an ex-mill-rat,
ex-(Calumet)region-rat, ex-chemist,
dead-mathematician, ex-programmer,
musician, composer, earth-walker.
I have two musical directions, I play,
perform, and teach traditional Japanese
classical music for the shakuhachi
(an end blown bamboo flute), and I play,
compose, and perform experimental
electronic music. All the electronic music I
compose and perform is and can be done
in real-time (i.e. I don't use multi-tracking
or computer manipulation for my compositions).
Whenever I record anything, either electronic
or on the shakuhachi, it is done in real-time
just as it would have been done on the stage
or in an intimate setting.
