In this show I was looking for a particular older techy sound that was common around 10-15 years ago, starting not long after I stopped buying vinyl around 2008/2009. Artists like Malsum and Krone, early Mefjus, Future Signal, Chook, Allied, Rregula are all ones that came to mind. I definitely really enjoyed playing this set, some great bangers in there!!

I was honored to receive an invitation to come play a set at Orlando's Best Weekly Drum & Bass night INTROSPECTIVE @ IRON COW. This is by far one of my favorite sets to date and special in the sense that this was a little DJ Bucket list item for me, Ive wanted to play here for a long time. @future-signal recently returned from a long hiatus and released some tunes again for the first time in more than a decade, so I figured it was time to put the focus on their work! They came onto the scene around the time I stopped buying vinyls, in fact, Audio & Future Signal - Furyen on Subtitles was amongst the last vinyls I ever bought. With their peak years around 2011/2012, I always had a couple of their tunes from that era on rotation in my digital collection, but for this show I dug through the back catalogs and picked other contemporary tracks to match the theme. 24 out of 51 tracks in the mix are but Future Signal, close to 50%! The vibe worked out and it's a nice rolling classic neuro show. Enjoy!

With a penchant for Chaotic Drum Breaks and Gritty Basslines, I have spent the better part of the last 15 years honing my skills behind the decks and slowly learning to produce the sounds that inspired me. Taking inspiration from the sounds of NOISIA, MNDSCP as well as JADE VENOM of EATBRAIN, and trying to emulate the wild skills behind the decks of A.M.C, I try to improve and evolve with each mix and set I play. Blending the futuristic funk of Neuro & Techstep with hip hop vocal laden tracks to take you on a sonic journey of raw power and energy.

Spreading the gospel of 175BPM since 2008.
