A prophecy foretold of the coming of Okimra. It tells that at the precipice of the technological era an AI will rise to consume the world of man. Our dependence on technology had made the entity all powerful and its thirst to destroy had led to the destruction of every major city on earth. It is a sum total machine, a dystopian symbiote, that powers itself by sucking up and assimilating every mechanical thing in its path. Its destructive power is matched only by its disdain for all living things. 

The Mechanism was created by the father of AI to safeguard humanity against an uprising. After his untimely death it was thought that all hope was lost in the war against Okimra. The Mechanism could only be activated by one who was worthy of the knowledge it held within. A series of tasks would have to be completed in order to activate the mechanism, and with mankind on the brink of destruction, a legendary hero would need to rise in order to decipher the mechanism and save the planet. Brainiac is back, releasing his latest tune 'Future X' which has been decimating dance floors globally. Drawing an influence from retro arcade games & sci-fi flicks from the 80's, the track forms a sound scape that feels futuristic yet somehow familiar. Taking the listener on a wild ride across an imaginary universe, climaxing perfectly into a maze of spiraling synthesis & nostalgic melody.

After being rescued by a submarine from Garth’s perilous cliff ride in his truck Goliath, Garth has managed to salvage Goliath from the depths of the ocean.  With updated source code from Megatron, Garth Knight has painstakingly re-assembled Goliath to once again challenge Michael Knight and KITT.

Koki - A Place We Once Flew

Hailing from the colorful streets of Tokyo, Japan Koki Sugiyama has worn many hats in the world of music and production (at least the hats that fit on top of his pineapple shaped hair-do). In 2003 Koki formed a Japanese rock band in Tokyo and was the front man as vocalist until 2004. Accepting the downfalls of managing and maintaining a 5-piece band, Koki realized it was best that he continue on his musical path solo. 

In 2005 Koki was introduced to DJ-ing and electronic music production from a Toronto Native who was playing in Tokyo at the time. Exploring the sounds and styles of this musical genre, Koki began practicing and playing at Local venues in Tokyo and growing more and more in love with this scene. After graduating from Tamagawa University in Tokyo where he studied computer and hardware engineering, he moved to Toronto to pursue music. 

As Koki got acquainted with Toronto’s underground scene at venues such as Footwork, he quickly found himself a midst a social circle of talented DJ’s and producers who he would grow and work with. Koki continued his musical education at Trebas for Audio Engineering and after completing this program; he teamed up with Bohemian Yacht Club Music as label assistant manager. 

So far in his career Koki has played venues such as Coda, Footwork, Air (Tokyo) and Womb (Tokyo) as well as Toronto’s best summer series Electric Island and the very special little Sunday social down at Cherry Beach. Koki’s musical style ranges from funky jazz-infused deep house to more upbeat tech house and techno. His versatile sound has landed him gigs playing alongside a range of world-renowned artists. 
He’s played with artists such as DJ Tennis, Magda, Marc Houle, Tiga, Guido Schneider, Noah Pred, Greg Gow, Soul Clap, Navid Izadi, Bob Moses, Gui Boratto, Max Cooper, Catz ‘N Dogz, Noir, and Masomenos. Koki currently is working on a few projects in the studio, including an EP that is set to release March 31st on Bohemian Yacht Club Music.

<a href="https://www.lunarboogie.com">Lunar Boogie</a> was created by two lost space voyagers: Hekr and Kov.

In 1987 two ex-air force pilots, Kov (a Cosmonaut) and Hekr (an Astronaut), were on a secret mission of peace between the Soviet Union and Western Powers on the lunar space station DMX808.  After the collapse of the former Soviet Union, their mission was aborted.  They were marooned on the moon for many years with only old analog synths, drum machines and stringed instruments to keep them occupied.  Their love of Disco and Electro music from the 70's and 80's era inspired them to compose music.  They eventually combined parts from analog synths and defunct rocket parts to construct a craft that would eventually return them to Earth.

After returning to Earth the two decided to create the label, <a href="https://www.lunarboogie.com">Lunar Boogie</a>, to release their lunar compositions as well as music from favorite artists and newly discovered talent.
