Hello!

Lubber Louie sucks at making uninteresting and unappealing music. Ever since we emerged in 2017 on independent Belarus music scene, we’ve been constantly bending numerous genre frameworks to extract even wider range of artistic expression. 

Both dark and sunny, spacious but suffocating, simultaneously dumb and smart, yet happy and desperate – our sound is full of contradictions and offers ultimate sonic experience with full specter of emotions while staying comprehensible and natural. This is a perfect depiction of ourselves and our message: stay who you are regardless of life’s rougher turns. If we put tags, then the genres closest to us are no wave, shoegaze and postpunk with other smaller influences.

We are an experienced band who played more than 50 shows in Belarus, Ukraine, Poland, Serbia, Russia, Slovenia, Estonia, and the Czech Republic. Over the past 6 years, we’ put out 2 LPs, an EP, and several singles in four different languages: Belarusian, Russian, English and Polish.

Following the protests in Belarus in 2020, we were forced to leave our home country since we have ф solid political stance against totalitarian regime and violence towards citizens. After settling down in Warsaw, we continued working hard on the new music material. 

We’ve already recorded a new LP with more mature sound and even played several songs from it live on our recent gigs. The first single from the upcoming LP is called "Dusty," and you can listen to it via the provided links.
