Banpay Crew nasce a Firenze nell'inverno tra il 2001 e 2002 dall’incontro di tre dj accomunati dalla passione per la musica Reggae, in poco tempo si afferma come uno dei sound più attivi della Toscana. Inizialmente costituita da Ghigo alla voce, Jona e Orso alla selezione, la crew nel 2009 si allarga con l’ingresso di akaLotto e di Tommy bwoy, dj attivi da tempo nella scena Reggae/hiphop, nel 2015 la crew cresce ancora con l'ingresso di Junior P e Yellow dan, due dei dj migliori della new generation del reggae fiorentino.

Negli anni Banpay si è fatta conoscere attraverso le sue dancehall, l’organizzazione di centinaia di serate e attraverso una ricerca musicale continua, infatti, le varie esperienze dei componenti della crew, gli permettono di spaziare attraverso molteplici stili e sonorità, suonando dalla “Foundation”, al “Rub a dub”, al “Digital”, passando per il “Bashment” e arrivando fino al “Hip Hop”.
Le innumerevoli serate organizzate e le decine di Dubplate registrati negli anni fanno di BANPAY uno dei sound più energici e agguerriti della penisola!
