After 5 distinguished years 187 returns with a piece that takes you away with crystal clear Lil Pimp 187 funk with polished and mastered engineering, a pleasure and a rite of passage. The premise of the tape is to bring us all back to our old reality from before Covid. This work is dedicated to those who have left us in the past 5 years. This is for everyone there's something you can cruise, go on a mission and kick back to, but also take with you on your program/routina or if you wanna kick some ass. Thanks to my family, thank you Magdalena, losing you has been hell. You saw the thesis of this album in real life and were there to get the first taste. I'll never forget you, you were the coolest chick I met in a long time. Rest in peace my big brother Jay, you weren't there to support me while I made this but you were a big part of it. I incorporate phrases that you would have cracked up about or would give me shit for lol. I got the idea about the album cover and title from Matt Cordova, RIP, the big homie and leader of West Side 187. Rest in peace Ricky "Yogi" Chavez, the realest from a generation. Rest in peace to my big brother Joshua "D-Money" Dimas had my back when I first moved to Las Cruces when I was just a little kid. He told the whole pod if anyone had a problem with me then he would fuck them all up lmfao. Rip Chris Mata and my other homie Romeo from Cruces my first homies from Cruces, they were real gangsters and players and had my back and always gave me good escuela. Mata beat 2 muertas. Rip my brother Justice James, one of my first bestfriends. Rip Mikey Patterson, Dre 300, little Anthony, Chance Gonzales and my blood brother Chance. RIP Wurce, Plvntxn 187, The Beltran Brothers, Mariah Albertson, Nikki Boo, Chris Legits, Demon, AT, Little Ray, Buris, Sherm, Travis Chavez, Victoria Roybal, Darryl Martinez, Grace Jennings, Monique Elizabeth, Ashley Casias, Magdalena Rascon, Ervina, Geo, and anyone else that was missed. I miss you all and the beautiful memories we had, this is for you. I had a lot of issues releasing this tape, it was delayed for years to due personal struggles. From the law to addiction, to toxic relationships and just trying to make ends meet a lot of times. I never gave up, I had to do this for my supporters, and any music lover who is inspired by new music that has true sentiment in a "grey" world. Culture is everything, stick to your roots, take care of your people, don't listen to any prejudice or discrimination. United we stand, divided we fall. This is for my New Mexico, from the norte in Chima to the south in Chapparel. I love my beautiful people, the beauty of our women and the power of our familes and culture abounding each other.
