Sofya Abramchuk, a designer, creative director and founder, and event curator with over a decade of experience leading innovative projects at the intersection of architecture, culture, and transformation. She is the co-founder of the Originate Institute, a visionary spin‑off of the Gaudí World Foundation — where she spent eight years shaping Gaudí’s legacy before transitioning into her current role as advisor and collaborator.
 
Sofya has been deeply involved in curating and delivering international events including three editions of the Gaudí World Congress and a range of immersive challenges, workshops, and exhibitions. She now serves as a collaborator and advisor to the Foundation, and is currently working with AIM Group International on the upcoming Gaudí World Congress in Chile, which will be supporting the construction of the only Gaudí-designed building outside of Spain — the long-awaited Chapel in Rancagua.
 
Today, she’ll be giving a first glimpse into my new initiative: the Back to the Origins Summit, set to take place in Seoul in spring 2026 — the first event of its kind to unite thought leaders, creatives, and institutions around a shared mission: designing a future rooted in timeless wisdom and regenerative innovation.

BIOGRAPHY

Ozzy Cetin, originally from Turkey and now based in London, is a renowned psytrance DJ known by aliases such as Mysticism, Wired, Ramizes, and Freetech. He is the driving force behind Crystal Kids, a Manchester-based community organizing psytrance events.

His journey into DJing began in 2004 in Eskisehir, Turkey, under the moniker 'RAMIZES,' where he showcased progressive and full-on psychedelic trance at his events. Over the years, he expanded his repertoire, introducing 'MYSTICISM' for psychill and 'FREETECH' for darkpsy in 2013. From 2011 to 2014, Ozzy immersed himself in Turkey's psytrance scene, participating in major indoor and outdoor events both as a crew member and DJ.

Ozzy's talent gained international recognition, leading him to perform at prestigious festivals such as OZORA, Earthcore, Boomtown, Sonica, Free-Earth, One Tribe, and The Beat-Herder from 2014 to 2017. 

As techno began to blend seamlessly with psytrance, Ozzy embraced this fusion, forming the alter ego 'WIRED' in 2019 to explore zenonesque, dark progressive, psygressive, and psytech sounds.

His prowess behind the decks earned him 'The Best DJ Set' awards at online competitions hosted by Earthcore Festival (Australia, 2015), Primitive Festival (Morocco, 2016), Psymera (UK, 2017), and Strange Daze (UK, 2017).

Since 2004, Ozzy has performed at countless international psytrance events, with a detailed bookings list available on his Soundcloud profile, where he meticulously curates each set with a unique tracklist. His Soundcloud playlists stand out as a definitive collection of the genre's best tracks, showcasing the talent of psytrance artists worldwide.

Since 2015, Ozzy has been actively organizing events in both Turkey and the UK, further cementing his role as a prominent figure in the global psytrance community.

As the son of a professional flamenco singer, Thomas has always been surrounded by music.  Exposure to flamenco influenced him because it has a dynamic range of emotions—from the "deep singing" style of cante hondo, to the more lively alegrias.  He has also worked in the corporate, independent, and online music industry for a number of years.  At one point he was a Content Manager for the Electronic Music genre at MP3.com, where he screened over 500 songs per day.  Exposure to a wide range of music explains the range of genres in his mixes—he uses whatever carries the mood.  From listening to Umm Kulthum's "Enta Omri" in his childhood, to New Wave and  Industrial as a teen, it became difficult for him to stick to one sound. Though vinyl was his original format of choice when he started in the 90s, the use of digital mixing has helped him better form soundscapes to expand your headspace. Gerhard Andreas Schreiber. Since the 1980s,  composing and producing music under the name octave plateau. What began in the shadowed clubs of the post-punk era and the neon-lit pulse of the Neue Deutsche Welle has grown into a lifelong journey through diverse soundscapes and emotions.

Back then, working with artists like Markus, capturing the spirit of a generation in transition – between analog grit and melodic futurism. But the musical path didn’t stop there.

Today, octave plateau bridges four distinct yet emotionally intertwined genres:

Smooth Jazz – music like warm light on late-night streets; gentle grooves, atmospheric chords, and melodies that breathe and linger. It’s the sound of reflection and release, crafted with subtlety and soul.

New Wave – shimmering synths, melancholic harmonies, and rhythm-driven storytelling. A style rooted in the 80s, but constantly reinterpreted to reflect the tension and beauty of the now.

Deutscher Schlager – emotional, melodic, and lyrical. I approach this genre with both respect and reinvention – drawing from its traditions while reshaping its form for contemporary ears.

Neue Deutsche Welle (NDW) – raw, ironic, and rhythmic. NDW has always been the rebellious heart of octave plateau, combining German lyrics with electronic textures, punk aesthetics, and a dose of playful absurdity.

In 2024, these songs – some newly written, others rediscovered and reimagined – are being produced in the octave plateau studio in Berlin. Here, the past and the present meet in harmony and friction. Analog synthesizers hum alongside digital clarity. Stories unfold in every track – sometimes with a wink, sometimes with a sigh.
