Maximus-VST (Image Line) in Host-FX (VCV) was used as compressor for loudness during recording, but removed from the patch thereafter. 

Scale is C minor.

Nightfall over the Cedars

All sounds created from recordings of birds during a camping trip in Mastigouche, July 2025.  The loons, specifically, have been tuned to play the chord progression of House of the Rising Sun.  (The people that were there know why). The rest come in and out using a modular, generative patch

I've never finished or shared any of my VCV rack compositions so I'm trying to break that habit!

Paraphonic Generative Synth patch I made on my IK Uno Synth Pro (Desktop)

did modify to randomly alter tuning of each oscillator 
Hold F, Db, and Bb
(the Db was a "mistake", was using Eb)
"played" with mod wheel, jumped about 1/2 on mod wheel ~25% into jam, max in middle, reduced, then increased, then reduced to lowest towards end.  
mod wheel mapped to LFO2 (random) on LFO 1 (S&H) rate, so kinda increase random changes

Generative ambient grand piano piece with a jazzy feel. Basic note sequence created with Walk (Bogaudio). Melody arpeggiation accomplished with Arp (Hampton Harmonics) in Outside In mode. Three voices: One Pad and two pianos.

For the main piano sound, the patch uses the Alicia's Keys/NI Kontakt 5 VSTi, placed inside the Host (VCV) module. This module can be replaced with any other piano module or VST. CV (pitch) input is connected to the V/Oct of Arp (Hampton Harmonics). Gate input connects to the Gate output of DGATE (Bogaudio), and the Velocity input wires to the output of OFS (docB) to the right. Host audio outputs go to the audio input of the Plateau module to the right.

Scale is C minor.

Kollektiv Schwarzer Bär are two electronic music lovers who have lived for years at the Schwarzer Bär in beautiful Linden and have been influenced by the electro scene in Hannover.

We grew up with electronic sounds and have been familiar with them for 30 years. Now, with this project, we want to bring people closer to this wonderful music and its different styles. Short mix sets will be presented here on a regular basis to give even the not so expert an overview for any mood . We are very happy about comments and feedback to get this small project more and more to flourish .
