O Escaletista, compositor e Educador Ladson Souza, nasceu em 1990 em Blumenau-Sul do Brasil,estudou no Conservatório de Música Popular de Itajaí, sempre buscando extrair novas possibilidades sonoras,desenvolvendo novas técnicas para a escaleta e vem conquistando o público com sua sensibilidade e bom gosto. 

Já tocou ao lado de grandes nomes da música Brasileira e Internacional como: Angel Terry Domech (Orquestra Buena Vista Social Club-Cuba), Letieres Leite (Orquestra Rumpilezz), Jurandir Santana, Marco Lobo, Mazin Silva, Ana Carmela Ramirez (Venezuela,NY), Santiago Beis (Uruguai), Thiago do Espirito Santo, Arnou de Melo, John Muller,Bruno Moritz, Ricardo Pauletti, Oliver Pellet, Demônios da Garoa, Gabriel Castro Quinteto (Argentina),Felipe Hostins,Banda Pirão Catarina,SerTãoSul Forró, entre outros com os quais o músico tem feito shows pelo Brasil.

Em 2016 lança seu primeiro Ep. o ''Web's Music'' disponível nas plataformas digitais Spotify,Deezer e Itunes,com algumas músicas qua estavam disponíveis na web,parcerias e composições feitas nos últimos 2 anos anteriores com músicos da região do Vale do Itajaí e Costa Verde Mar.
Em 2017 lança o albúm solo ''Ladson Souza plays Steve Reich'' com 5 interpretações de obras do compositor erudito Steve Reich também disponível na plataformas digitais.
Em 2018 está por finalizar seu albúm intitulado ‘’Caminhada’’ com 7 composições próprias e outros arranjos exclusivos para ‘’Trenzinho Caipira’’ de Villa Lobos,’’Chorinho pra Ele’’ do Hermeto Pascoal e ‘’Donna Lee’’ de Charlie Parker com previsão de lançamento para o final do mesmo ano.

Ladson vem se apresentando frequentemente com seu Quarteto e Trio que busca tocar composições próprias e interpretações de Standarts de Jazz e música Brasileira com arranjos especialmente feitos para a Escaleta e a formação pouco usual desse instrumento como solista e harmonizador de um grupo.

Como educador, desenvolve trabalhos em grupos de percussão e sopros para adolescentes de 11 a 17 anos em escolas públicas de Santa Catarina, e também lecionando aulas particulares e Workshops, práticas em conjunto sobre música Brasileira, Jazz e Harmonia e Improvisação. Além disso trabalha como Musicoterapeuta no Lar de Idosos Vita Residence Care, onde desenvolve um trabalho com Idosos e acamados de Música e Arteterapia.

From a Balkan voice wandering nomad camp stirring the air, carrying with it a note that screams, "Cigani." The prof. is busy to drink the life with the drinking buddy Lele and capture the message. Along with the faithful dog RegoleO take to squirm: a movement from bland, it becomes more frenetic and strikes his limbs.
The gorges swell rant Gramelot of Eastern Europe... 
The Babbutzi Orkestar was born in September 2007 with the idea of offering a repertoire of Balkan music around the traditional sounds of Eastern Europe.
In 2009 they released their first album "Babbutzi Orkestar" after an intense live activity that has seen the 8 musicians of Babbutzi Orkestar propose on many stages and squares in Italy. The output of the first job begins to circulate more the name of the ensemble, also increasing the number of performances and invitations to important festivals such as the TIPI FESTIVAL in Bolzano, FESTORIA in Saronno, PEPERONCINO SUD EST FESTIVAL, I AM ART FESTIVAL in Umbria, and create collaborations including one with SERGIO Sgrilli, the famous comic form ZELIG show. By the many amazing concert that release an intense energy and transform any situation in a party of colors and crazy dances will come to a second disc in 2011 titled "Baro Shero". A more mature album with new sounds that create a beat stronger and at times a little punk with a pounding rhythmic cadence, but that does not abandon the traditional Balkan sounds. The new sound bound to Baro Shero is very compelling and the proof comes from the fiery live band that takes you around squares and stages all over Italy. Until you get to 2013, an important period for the BABBUTZI ORKESTAR, which see the band featured on important stages of Italy and not also to the side of artists such as Kocani ORKESTAR and SHANTEL; many invitations even at important festivals such as the GUCA NA KRASU in Trieste and HIDRELLEZ 2013 in ISTANBUL. In May comes a compilation for the Guca Na Krasu Fest where one own song is selected ("Bum Bum Boje,") to support the now widely known DUBIOZA KOLEKTIV, BOBAN I MARKO MARKOVIC and MAGNIFICO. The near future will reserve huge surprises, most notably the release of the new album that will have the title of "Vodka, Polka & Vina" anticipated by the singles "Sciu Sciu The Praline" and "Mercedes". But the story is just beginning ...
